When your old hubs start to seize or your drums show deep grooves, swapping them out is simple with this pre-greased hub-and-drum setup. It fits 3,500-lb axles with #84 spindles and is built with the inner bearing L68149 (1.378" ID) and outer bearing L44649 (1.063" ID). The bearings and races come installed and packed with lithium complex, multipurpose grease, so you don’t have to mess with packing or seal installation. Just slide it on, torque it down, and you’re ready to roll.
Reliable braking starts with the surface your shoes grab onto. This iron hub and drum assembly has a 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide drum that works with 10" electric or hydraulic brakes. The 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern with 1/2"-diameter studs gives you a strong wheel connection and a weight capacity of 1,750 lbs per hub. It’s tested and certified by QAI and CSA for braking performance and safety under real-world conditions.
Everything you need for installation is already there — bearings, races, grease seal (58846, 1.719" ID x 2.565" OD), grease cap with 1.988" flange, and lug nuts. Even the zinc-finished bolts resist corrosion, and the zinc-enriched paint on the drum helps keep rust at bay. With no extra parts to chase down, you can get your trailer back on the road in one shot.
Water, road grime, and salt can eat through plain steel fast. The zinc-enriched finish on this hub and drum protects the iron underneath, keeping corrosion in check whether you’re towing through rain, slush, or coastal air. That means smoother braking and longer service life mile after mile.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

We sent back all the parts because they would not fit. We ended up buying from somewhere local but etrailer was not an issue! It was us ordering the wrong parts and not fitting. Would order from you guys again definitely, but our older trailer was hard to find springs and hubs to fit.

You mentioned that the hub assemblies were too small and I wanted to ask what size did you need? What is the weight capacity of your axle?
