The grease cap on this hub-and-drum assembly is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube axle to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

The hub and drum assembly had to come directly from Dexter, so it took a bit longer. I now have it and look forward to installing it. Thank you.
The parts i needed were hard to find Etrailer was able to send them all with in a timely manner free shipping and very good communication with all the tracking info the parts were high quality and fit as expected.Thanks again etrailer!!!
etrailer had the hard to find hub for my Dexter 4400-lb axle. Every thing I needed to replace the hub was included in this kit along with instructions.
Wish that you had offered a pre-packed bearing assembly.
Shipping was terrible slow, I canceled the hub order because it wouldn’t ship for 7 days after I ordered it. Parts that were in hand you were going to wait to ship them 7 days later and I called and said in need them now!! And you sent out after the call. Speed up your shipping and handling would be good, over all good service
Sadly, I have to give this product a negative rating because of quality control. I had a wheel break off at the wheel studs on the way home from a camping trip.. When I installed the hubs, I did it by the book right down to the torque specifications. The hubs were only about 9 months old and had about 2,000 miles on them. I am unable to explain how this happened. I was not overloaded and I didn’t hit anything. The picture says it all. Because it broke of at the studs, putting on the spare wasn’t an option. I had to unhitch, get parts the next day, and then make the repairs. Of course it happened at night and I was unable to find the wheel. So in addition to the repair, I had to buy a whole new tire and wheel.
Received said parts on time. ordering and shipping process was easy, straight forward and much appreciated. Have not installed or looked at parts at this time but expecting all to go well.

Received the correct bearing the second time but shipped it via the Postal Service which took forever. Because etrailer originally shipped the wrong parts I think was entitled to next day shipping, not the pony express.
Many thanks to the team that helped me find the correct product and get it to me in just a few days. My first dealing with etrailer was great and I will use them on future needs.

Great. Right product first time.
We were unable to find the part required to fix our 5th wheel. We had exhausted all avenues or so we thought. We were told to try Etrailer. The part we needed was available and after talking with their staff the part was ordered and delivered very quickly. The part was installed today and we are very happy. I would and have recommended Etrailer not only to friends but also some of the businesses we worked with.
Was perfect and cheaper than getting from the dealership. Well packaged with no rust or damage. Will definitely order more from etrailer.com. Make sure you pay attention to axle weight, brand, and bolt pattern and you will get the right parts.
