Does etrailer Hub for 3,500 lb Trailer Axle AKHD-655-35-K Come Pre-Greased

Question:

Part AKHD-655-35-K hub 6x5.5” says it’s pre greased. Does that mean the bearings are pre installed in the hub or something else. The video said you need th pack the bearings.. what does pre greased mean and why is it cheaper than the other part 84656UC3 6x5.6” which is not pre-greased?

Hey Craig, sorry about the confusion but the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-655-35-K that you referenced does come pre-greased and ready to install. The bearings are in the hub, they have been packed with grease, and there's a grease seal installed as well so it will be a super easy and clean install. Pricing is hard to pin down but different brands offer products to us at different rates so sometimes it doesn't always seem logical that more money is better.
