This Yakima BaseLine setup gives you a ready-to-roll roof rack system that installs directly onto a naked roof. It comes with 2 JetStream crossbars, 4 BaseLine towers, and a custom fit kit designed for a secure, stable mount. The aluminum construction keeps it lightweight but tough enough to handle whatever you need to bring along, all while giving your setup a clean and purposeful look.
Long drives can get noisy when air hits standard square bars, but these aero-style JetStream crossbars are shaped to cut down on wind drag and vibration. The push-down rubber strips in the top channels seal around your mounted accessories, reducing whistling and noise at speed. The result is a smoother, quieter ride that makes even long hauls more relaxed.
Whether you’re hauling kayaks, camping gear, or a cargo box for an extended trip, the 50" long aluminum crossbars handle up to 165 lbs of evenly distributed weight. Their 2-3/4" width and 1-1/8" height give you a solid platform for gear without adding unnecessary bulk. Just remember to always follow your vehicle’s maximum roof load capacity.
You don’t have to pick between water sports, winter adventures, or extra luggage space—these crossbars handle them all. They’re compatible with most universal cargo boxes, bike racks, kayak carriers, and snow mounts that either slide into the top channels or clamp around the bars. Switching from one activity to the next is quick and simple.
Yakima’s Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately) drop right into the BaseLine towers to help deter theft. It’s an easy upgrade that keeps your rack secure whether you’re parked at a trailhead or in town overnight.

Tghe racks have remained on since I installed them correctly, no thanks to your video. I read the manual it came with.
