I want to install a roof rack on my 2026 Chrysler pacifica with naked roof. What options do I have that will fit this car? This rack comes up when searching roof racks on your website for my specific vehicle. Hey Scott!

No, the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells - Track Mount - Black - 54" Bars # Y02-480B will not work on your 2026 Chrysler Pacifica. There is no custom fit kit for your van so instead, you will need to use components to build a roof kit for your van.

For the front to back rails, you can use Yakima 54" Tracks for Roof Racks # Y01127 and that will be used as your base for the system. This system will require drilling through your vehicle's roof for the installation. Next, you'll add Landing Pad 1 for Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers - Qty 2 # Y00221 to attach your towers. These come in a 2-pack and you'll need a four pads to have two crossbars on your roof. For the towers of the system, go with SkyLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Fixed Mounting Points, Flush Rails, and Track Systems - Qty 4 # Y53TR and that will be compatible with your crossbars Yakima JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 50" Long - Qty 2 # Y00425. That will give you a fully custom fit roof rack system on your Pacifica and allow you to add any accessories that are compatible with aero bars, like a watersport carrier, cargo box, or rooftop tent. This system at the most would be rated at 165 lbs, but you'll want to consult your owner's manual for the roof's weight capacity.

@JerryB Jerry, I have another question regarding your proposed setup of roof racks from my Chrysler Pacifica. You recommended the Yakima 54" rails # Y01127 as my base rails for roof rack setup on my Pacifica. Do you know if they fit in the factory groove of the pacifica that is used to install the OEM Chrysler roof rack? Those grooves are covered by a piece of trim plastic which can be removed if you install the OEM roof rack. Please advise, Scott

@Scott This is a universal part so it's not designed to fit inside of the factory grooves. I couldn't find the dimensions of the grooves, but the tracks are 1-5/8" wide, so they will fit into a slot that is slightly wider that that, though they won't be able to be covered back up once installed.
