Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the replacement hardware kit for trailer hitches, part number RHK. This part number is the replacement installation hardware kit for Curt Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese trailer hitches. Now basically if you have a trailer hitch that has an old hardware or hardware is damaged or missing, this is the part you need to order to get everything needed to install the hitch to your vehicle. On this video we're going to describe how to order the correct installation kit for your specific trailer hitch on your vehicle. Now, every trailer hitch when it's shipped will come with the specific hardware that's required to install that hitch to your vehicle and also meet the maximum towing capacities of that hitch. Having the correct grade and strength of bolts is required for your hitch to meet those capacities. If you try to find this kit locally, like in your hardware store, it can be very difficult to get the correct bolts and size.
This part number will get you the whole correct kit you need for your application.Basically what you want to do is go to the part number on our website. Go to the part number RHK, and on that product page it'll come up. You'll see a box that'll say hitch item number. It's usually on the right hand side. Under that, a dropdown box for the hitch manufacturer.
Those are the two things you'll need to get the correct hardware kit. If you look at the hitch on your vehicle, try to find the part number on your hitch. It might be stamped somewhere on the hitch. On this one I happened to pull, it has a sticker on the end right here. It says 75938, so that's actually your part number.
Once you have that, then you just put that in the hitch item number box. Now, the next thing you need is the manufacturer. On this one, it's pretty simple. You'll see a sticker right here that'll say Draw-Tite. Click on that, the dropdown box will bring up your choices of either Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch or Reese. This one, type in the Draw-Tite with this part number and we'll get you out the correct hardware kit you need. Now, if you found both of those items, you're able to complete the order.
You're ready to go. Now, if you have a problem finding either the part number or the manufacturer, the next step is to check our fit guide on our website. Put in your year, make and model of your vehicle and that'll show you what hitches are available, brand and part number for your vehicle. You can usually narrow it down that way. You could also take a picture of your hitch, try to match the design of it like the safety chain openings, what they look like. If you have a picture, you could match it up to the website and that'll get you the correct part numbers also. Now, if you're still not able to find all that information, you can always call one of our customer service reps and they will help you find the correct parts you need. I hope this video helps you find the correct hardware kit you need for your trailer hitch, but that should do it for the review on the replacement hardware kit for trailer hitches, part number RHK.

Sorry this is late, but replacement hardware was the full sealed kit rather than a zip lock sandwich bag that arrived in a slashed box with the hitch. Only had to loosen mounts to install the "shouldered" bolt. A single horizontal cut allowed me to retain the splash shield on the 17-22 Kia Niro's driver's side wheel well( which might not show up clearly in photo).
The team at etrailer went above and beyond! I have a 2011 Ford Escape and finding hitch hardware is hard enough, this site was the only one I could find to help me, they have everything! There was an extremely minor part error upon the kits delivery and Paula and the team sent me an entire replacement kit instead of just the missing nut. Talk about phenomenal customer service. After a successful install, I’m ready to get towing! Helpful hint, if you’re installing solo, a pair of jack stands are your best friends! Thanks again etrailer team!
Fitment was exact not a generic one fits most. Quick install without difficulty. Would purchase again and would recommend to others.
The hitch I had purchased from this company had missing hardware - a few 1/2"-13 nuts. I notified the company, and the representative said he would have replacements sent. I received a bag full of hitch-mounting hardware, but it contained no 1/2"-13 nuts. I called again to request the nuts. Pretty sketchy quality control.

I am sorry that you received the wrong hardware with this replacement kit. We personally put together the replacement kits in our warehouse, based off of the original instructions from the manufacturer. It is possible that you received the wrong type of hardware for your hitch and application. Let me get you over to our customer service department for them to get this actually corrected for you.
Very helpful To be able to get A hardware pack after the other place I ordered from lost it. Thank you so much!

Amazing, the fact that the retailer lost the installation hardware, couldn’t help replacing it. But you guys sold me the whole package at a good price was awesome. A year later, the hardware is holding sturdy and showing to be made of quality material.
Awesome product shipped and installed easily. I just wish I would’ve looked at my Curt hitch before hand, the same bag and instructions were already taped to the hitch!! Waited a week to install when I could’ve installed right away. But anyways. Seems great haven’t hauled much with it besides moving my trailer around the yard!
Exactly what I needed to for bolts and fishing wire for not one but two vehicles. They know their stuff. Sadly, I recommend suggesting a can of Aerokroil to help loosen the bolts off the car when adding a hitch onto it.
This is a 2nd review. I am totally satisfied with your product. The hitch installation was as easy as video described . The wiring was a little more time consuming but was also very easy to install. The only issue was hardware and that has now been resolved.
My car had been wrecked by another vehicle but my hitch (also bought from etrailer) was fine; I bought another car of the same model so I was able to reuse the old hitch but needed the hardware to install it - they came through with no issues. I gave them 4 stars only because I thought they overcharged for the bolts and washers.
I needed replacement mounting hardware for a hitch that I was transferring to a new car. E trailer had it in stock, when I was having a challenge finding it anywhere else. I ordered it on a Friday and had it on Monday.
The original parts list stated that four fishwires were included. I only found two.The instruction sheets were entirely missing.I think you could have done better especially considering the price you charged which crowded exorbitant. Not a happy camper.
Parts kit was originally sent with 4 wrong sized bolts. When I received the replacement kit, that one had another wrong sized bolt. After contacting Torklift that the second kit was incorrect, I was told that a correct part would be sent overnight, the next day I was notified that I would get it 5 days later. No confidence in Torklift quality control or customer service!
Replacement hardware kit showed up in a timely fashion. I really just needed 1 conical washer -- you (etrailer) may want to keep a bin of spare parts rather than sending a whole new kit...
The wiring harnesses from etrailer are easy to install and work great!
Twice, the wrong kit was sent to me. On the 2nd go round I had to wait for 4 weeks to receive the incorrect kit from the time I placed the order. Extremely frustrating to say the least. I also had to pay to ship the 1st kit back to etrailer and pay shipping again for the 2nd kit. Very un-proffesional.
Exceptional Quality Product.
Exactly, what I Needed.
Well Packaged, quick ship.
Best Pricing.
Complete Vehicle specific Hardware kit for a Reese Receiver Hitch for a 30 year old Nissan Truck. Excellent.
Sent wrong bolts Totally messed up threads on car. Poor customer service. Will not allow you to speak with owner. Never got a call back from a supervisor. Worst experience I ever had.
It is exactly what I needed for my hitch install. Customer service was extremely helpful and organized.
Customer service was great. Very helpful at determining the parts I needed and instructions were also included for mounting the hitch which I wasn't expecting.
I had a part missing in the hardware kit that came with the hitch. I was easily able to contact eTrailer for a replacement hardware pack with all needed parts included.
Great trailer. Heavy duty compared to other brands. Very cost effective.
Just what was needed for my install. Thought about using aftermarket hardware, but ordered the real deal from etrailer for peace of mind and ease of installation. Many thanks
eTrailer.com shipped these practically overnight with cheap shipping, they arrived so fast! Very satisfied, can't wait to get my new-to-me trailer hitch installed on my Veloster.

Well, the hitch is still being held to the car :D So no complaints here.
Item is loosely packaged in an oversized box. When it arrived it had holes I. The carton and was missing hardware. When I contacted customer support I was told I could have the item replaced or a partial refund and source the missing hardware locally. Then I was told I was being sent a hardware kit. Then I was told that it had to be one or the other. A partial refund, or replacement hardware kit. I sourced the missing hardware locally and received the missing but a few days later. The installation video show items to install hardware that are not part of the hitch package. Not sure how you are suppose to install the hitch is you don’t fabricate your own tools.

Not a complaint one a year later. Have checked the bolt torque without any movement. Ill say a few people have asked why two receivers, simple, the oem is part of the truck body assembly. I choose to keep it in place and it causes no problems. Would purchase again.
