Hey all, I am looking for the latest most modern roof rack to carry mostly kayaks and bikes for my 2018 Edge. It seems like the roof racks for naked roofs come in many different brands and sizes and Im struggling to choose one to go with. Thank you for your time and your suggestion.

It's aerodynamically the best designed crossbar which makes it the quietest and also has a top channel you can attach accessories in that were designed for that type of attachment.
I attached a picture of this rack installed on a similar Ford Edge as well as a link to an install video. For a kayak carrier that can attach directly to the top channel of this rack the Thule Hull-a-Port part # TH849000 would work well and then for a bike rack the Upride part # TH599000 would be a great choice as well.
