Question:
Whats the difference between these HD tracks and the regular tracks?

The difference between the Yakima HD Crossbars like the # Y74MR and the regular Yakima Tracks like the # Y01135 is that they are compatible with different feet and adapters. With the HD tracks, they will fit the Yakima Skyline towers, OverHaul HD system, or OutPost HD systems. In order to use these components, you need to use the Landing Pad 26 for Yakima SkyLine Towers - Qty 2 # Y75ZR or the Yakima HD Track Adapter Kit for Yakima OverHaul HD and OutPost HD Truck Racks - Qty 4 # Y75RR. If you plan to use crossbars like the JetStream Crossbars like the # Y00425, you need the SkyLine Towers # Y53TR along with the Landing Pad 26 to use the HD tracks.
Regular Yakima tracks like the # Y01135 are compatible with the Landing Pad 1 for Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers - Qty 2 # Y00221, the Yakima Control Towers # Y8890027, and Yakima RoundBars like the # Y00411.

In a similar question what is exactly the difference between these 2 tracks? Is the actual channel a different dimension from the typical normal Yakima track? Like is the measurement larger where something like a larger T nut would need to be used to use the HD tracks? Trying to determine this exactly and having a hard time finding answers. Thanks!
