AFE Air Intake System Installation 2005 GMC Sierra

Today on the 2005 GMC Sierra 1550 series, were going to be installing the AFE Intake Kit product number AFE51-10092. The kit includes the replacement air filter, the new intake tube, an intake adapter and two different couplers, hose clamps, the trim seal, and then the new intake housing. Once we've ensured all that's there, we can go ahead and start with our installation. The first thing we want to do before we start moving each stock intake system is to go ahead and remove the negative terminal from the battery. Well reinstall this once the new intake is in, that will allow the system to reset itself around the new intake system. Ok, moving on to the factory air intake, were going to first disconnect the mass air censor. There is actually a clip that's on here that we need to remove that first.
aFe Direct-Fit Cold Air Intake System with Pro Dry S Filter Installation

Today on this 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 series with a 5.3 liter engine we will be installing the AFE air intake system, part number AFE51-11752. The first thing we are going to do is remove the engine cover. It pops right off since it is a press fit. Next, we are going to loosen the clamp here that is attaching the tube to the intake housing and throttle body. We will do the same thing on the clamp on the other side. Next we are going to move over and disconnect the wiring harness from the sensor. Then we are going to remove the plastic line coolant brace from the intake tube. You can see this is a push rivet type connector. I an going to use a rivet removal tool, if you do not have one of these you can use a flat head screwdriver. Just slide it in there and separate the two. 1:00
AFE Air Filter Vendor Information

Advanced Flow Engineering. It was founded in 1999. The company started making the air filters in 1999. We started producing just air filters, which is gauze, oiled filters, high flow. The whole idea came from thinking about offering an alternative to what was on the market. We felt like there was not many choices in the marketplace. :25
Air Intake System Installation - 2005 Infiniti G35

Today on this 2005 Infiniti G35 we are going to install AFE part number AFE54-11092. What this kit is going to do is replace the stock intake tube on the vehicle. You can see it comes with a new bracket for the filter, replace the tube and all of the hardware and the adapters needed to install. Pop open the hood when you get to the engine compartment. The first thing you need to do is take off this plastic engine cover. That way we have better access to the factory intake tube. Start disassembling the intake tube. Take this bolt out, go over here and take this one off. Next we are going to remove the factory crank case line which is this tube. Loosen the clamp up, move it back. Now we can remove the wire harness for the MAF sensor, push down this tab and it should pop off. At this point we can start removing this entire assembly. 01:22
AFE Stage 2 Air Intake Review

Okay today we are actually doing a preview of a 2004 Jeep Unlimited Wrangler. We are looking at an intake produced by AFE, Advanced Flow Engineering. The intake that we have here is a stage 2. We do a different series of intakes. We offer stage 1, stage 2. Difference between a stage 1 and a stage 2 is a factory box. It is just a box in stage 1, when we add a torque tube it becomes a stage 2 in the AFE line up. We also offer sealed induction intakes which are completely enclosed for the people who like the sealed version. 00:36
