AIRAID CAD Air Intake System Installation - 2006 Chrysler 300C

Today is a 2006, Chrysler 300C. We're going to install part number Ar350-199 from AIRAID. To start off our install, we're going to go ahead and disconnect the negative cable from the battery located in the trunk. Next we need to loosen the hose clamp that holds the factory intake tube to the throttle body. Next, we'll go ahead and disconnect the breather hose from the factory air box lid. Then we'll go ahead and remove the lid to the air box. We'll pull both lock down tabs towards the front.

AIRAID CAD Intake System Installation - 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Today, on our 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser, we're going to install part number AR300-138 from Airaid. This is the Airaid Cad intake system with a sensiflow filter, stage one. To start off our install, we'll go ahead and disconnect the negative battery cable. Then we need to remove the factory air lid. To do this, we'll go ahead and loosen up the clamp on the factory intake tube at the box lid. Then we can go ahead and unclip the factory air box lid, and remove it from the vehicle. Now typically, there's two clips; on this particular vehicle, one of the clips is missing.

Airaid Air Intakes AR201-233 Review

Today we're going to review Part Number AR201-233. The is is the Airaid Cad Air Intake System with the Synthamax filter. This part number is designed to fit many Chevrolet and GMC truck models starting in 2009. What I would recommend the product page for this part number and at the bottom of the page it will list the many vehicles and applications that this will fit on. This is a Stage 2 open cold air intake system which will boost your engine horsepower and torque. It does increase the airflow and it draws in more cold, dense air than your closed systems. As you can see it has this two piece powder-coated steel air dam which isolate your engine heat while maximizing the cold air draw.

Airaid Air Intakes AR401-278 Review

Today, we're going to review part number AR 401-278, the Airaid MXP Intake System with the SynthaMaxfilter. This part number is designed to fit the 2011 and newer Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 and the F-550 that use the 6.7 liter power-stroke diesel engine. Iwould recommend to go to the product pagefor this part number, and at the bottom of the page it will list the years and models of the vehicles this will fit on.This is a cold air intake system, which will increase your engine horsepower and torqueby collecting cold air and improving the air flow. This has the stage two sealedbox cold air intake with the air dam that will block the hot air and thenthe large inlets will maximize the cold air draw. This does increase the airflow and draw in more air than a fully closed system. Now this air box and this intake tube right here are both made of a roto-molded cross-link high-density polyethylenematerial and both of these pieces will replace the factory air box and intake tube that's on your vehicle right now. The cold air dam will isolate the engine heat while maximizing air intake.

This part number is designed to fit the 2011-2013 Ford F250 and F350 trucks with the 6.7 liter power stroke diesel V8 engine. This is a cold air intake system which will increase your engine horsepower and torque by collecting cold air and improving the airflow. It uses this stage two seal box which is a cold air intake. It has an air dam which would help lock the hot air and then it has very large inlets which will maximize your cold air draw. It does increase the airflow and draw in more air than a fully closed system.

Airaid Air Intakes AR301-254 Review

Today we're going to review part number AR301-254. This is the Airaid MXP intake system with the synthamax airfilter. This part number is designed to fit the 2010 to 2012 Dodge Ram truck with the 6.7 liter Cummings diesel engine. This is a cold air intake system which will increase your engine horsepower and torque by collecting cold air and improving the air flow. It uses a stage two sealed box cold air intake, has the air dam and it'll block the hot air and the large inlets will also maximize the cold air draw. It does increase the air flow in drawing more air than your fully closed systems. Both the air box and this intake tube are made of a inaudible 00:0050 molded cross link high density polyethylene material and both items, the air box and the intake tube, this would replace the stock ones on your vehicle. The cold air dam will isolate theengine heat while maximizing air intake.

Airaid Air Intakes AR300-277 Review

This part number is designed to fit the Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 or 3500 with the 5.7 liter V8 engine beginning in model years 2013. I would recommend to go to the product page of this part number and at the bottom of the page it will list the vehicles and models that this part will fit on. This is a cold air intake system which will increase your engine horsepower and torque by collecting cold air and improving the air flow. It uses a Stage II sealed box here which is the cold air intake box which will increase your air flow and draw in more air than a fully closed system. It will also use this intake tube.

  • Power Gains to be Expected from Using a Performance Tuner in 2014 Toyota Tundra 5.7L V8
  • A performance chip in any vehicle is a primary, but still just one, of a number of related components that will deliver its best when used in conjunction with others. When it comes to tuners these should be considered as one of the components to be upgraded along with a cold air intake and a performance exhaust. A more aggressive tune requires more fuel and air to combust, and an engine that can breathe better will be able to deliver more of the potential gains from an aggressive tune from...

  • Which system is better will really depend on you. If you're a 'Type A' person who's pretty much on top of things all the time, I'd recommend the Oil-Based Filter model, part # AR300-107 because the 5-layer filter provides better filtration than the # AR301-107 dry filter model, especially if you regularly operate your vehicle in dusty areas. This system does require some maintenance, it will need to be cleaned and re-oiled occasionally. A cleaning and oiling kit is available as part...

  • Cold air intake that is the right fit for a given vehicle is supposed to fit in the same area as the stock intake. The filter near the wheel, if that is not where it is supposed to be based on the stock set up, could cause some issues. But your problem is likely different. An upgraded intake is going to suck in more air meaning that the fuel to air ratio is different than stock. This is likely what is causing the error.
