You'll want to verify in our fit guide which part number fits your inaudible 00:00:10.Now we're taking a drive without our steering stabilizer installed so we can compare the differences. • RV on Ford E-450 Chassis is Hard to Steer and Sways
  • Just like a trailer, a vehicle being flat towed can pull around your RV, especially if the roads are uneven or wind joins in. There are several stabilizing products you could use to improve this issue and provide a better, safer tow. For a rear anti-sway bar you can use # RM-1139-147 which will provide an upgraded bar and bushings to improve stability at the back of the RV built on the Ford E-450 chassis. For the front the correct replacement anti-sway bar is # RM-1139-176. Also...

  • Best Suspension Enhancement for 2018 Forest River Georgetown 31R5
  • According to my research your 2018 Forest River Georgetown 31R5 is built on a Ford F-53 chassis, which is what the parts you listed will fit. The best way to enhance the ride of your motorhome is to add a rear anti-sway bar as it will most effectively limit the side-to-side movement and create a more balanced driving experience. The correct rear anti-sway bar for you is Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-145 though this will only fit if you are certain that your 2018 Forest River's...

  • Rear Sway Bar and Axle Stabilizer for 2017 E450 Class C with V10 Engine
  • Both the front sway bars you mentioned are a fit for your 2016 Ford E-450 with a V10 engine, the part # RM-1139-176 and # BXTH7718. Both of them replace your factory sway bar and are 1-3/8 inch in diameter so they would perform the exact same. Since the Blue Ox has been discontinued the Roadmaster is the way to go. For a rear sway bar you'd want the part # RM-1139-147.

  • Comparing Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bars for a 2005 Winnebago on Workhorse W24 Chassis
  • The only difference between Roadmaster front anti-sway bar # RM-1259-105 and # RM-1259-106 is that the latter, # RM-1259-106, also includes a Roadmaster TruTrac front axle track rod that keeps the front axle in line. It would be more stable than a new anti-sway bar alone. I have included a link to the instructions for both. As far as the front and rear anti-sway bars being different diameters, it will not be a factor since the front and rear axles are independent of each other. Also...

  • How to Improve Ride Quality of RV Built on 2017 Ford E-450 Chassis
  • It's hard for the chassis manufacturers for the RVs to know how the vehicle is going to react when the motorhome is installed on them since they deliver the chassis without anything installed on them. So typically the final product has some ride issues. The Ford E450 and F53 have a reputation for this as well. The biggest ride improvement you'll make is with a bigger rear sway bar like the # RM-1139-147 which is a confirmed fit. A front sway bar makes the next biggest improvement like...

  • Comparing the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizers RBK22 and RBK9 for Ford F53 Chassis
  • Both the Reflex Steering Stabilizer RM-RBK9-RSSA and the Reflex Steering Stabilizer # RM-RBK22-RSSA are fits compatible with your Ford F53 chassis on your Jayco RV. Both of the stabilizer attaches to your Ford F-53's tie rod on one end and to the frame on the other. The only real difference between these is that the # RM-RBK22-RSSA was originally for vehicles with GVWR of 26,00 lbs or higher but they have now replaced the RM-RBK9-RSSA with the # RM-RBK22-RSSA and labeled it compatible...

  • For the 2016 Thor Ace built on a Ford F-53 chassis and we most likely can help you with your ride issues. But if the issue is a rough ride then you'll need shocks and we don't carry them. If the issue is that when you hit bumps of any type your motorhome starts to rock back and forth and seems to be uncontrollable (this is the most common complaint with the F-53) then you will need sway bars. For a rear sway bar you would want the part # RM-1139-146 which is a confirmed fit and then...

  • Anti-Sway Bars Needed for a 2018 Thor Vegas Motorhome

Something else that you may consider is a steering stabilizer like part # RM-RBK24-RSSC which will fit if you have an OEM damper. For the rear bar you may need to use Extended U-Bolt Kit # RM-590050-00 if you find the square OEM U-bolts on your Bounder are too short. The Extended Kit gives you U-Botls which are 15-3/4".
