Next, there is going to be a bolt we have to remove from the AC line clamp. We will save that for re-installation later.Next, we need to remove the mass air flow sensor. First, we will go ahead and disconnect the wire harness, and then we will unscrew the screws for the sensor. We will set them aside in a safe place for now.

Airaid CAD Cold Air Intake System Installation - 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Today on this 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to install part number AR311-212. This is Airaid CAD Intake System with SynthaMax Filter. Airaid Air Intakes AR201-233 Review

Today we're going to review Part Number AR201-233. The is is the Airaid Cad Air Intake System with the Synthamax filter. This part number is designed to fit many Chevrolet and GMC truck models starting in 2009. What I would recommend the product page for this part number and at the bottom of the page it will list the many vehicles and applications that this will fit on. This is a Stage 2 open cold air intake system which will boost your engine horsepower and torque. It does increase the airflow and it draws in more cold, dense air than your closed systems. As you can see it has this two piece powder-coated steel air dam which isolate your engine heat while maximizing the cold air draw.

Airaid Air Intakes AR401-278 Review

Today, we're going to review part number AR 401-278, the Airaid MXP Intake System with the SynthaMaxfilter. This part number is designed to fit the 2011 and newer Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 and the F-550 that use the 6.7 liter power-stroke diesel engine. Iwould recommend to go to the product pagefor this part number, and at the bottom of the page it will list the years and models of the vehicles this will fit on.This is a cold air intake system, which will increase your engine horsepower and torqueby collecting cold air and improving the air flow. This has the stage two sealedbox cold air intake with the air dam that will block the hot air and thenthe large inlets will maximize the cold air draw. This does increase the airflow and draw in more air than a fully closed system. Now this air box and this intake tube right here are both made of a roto-molded cross-link high-density polyethylenematerial and both of these pieces will replace the factory air box and intake tube that's on your vehicle right now. The cold air dam will isolate the engine heat while maximizing air intake.

  • As far as products we carry the best option for maximizing the horsepower of your 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 would be to go with a cat-back system, a cold-air intake, and a programmer. The most bang for your buck that you are going to get for exhaust would be the aFe Mach Force XP Cat-Back Exhaust System with Black Tip # AFE49-44038-B. • To determine an exact amount of power gains for a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 liter motor it would have to be placed on a Dyno to calculate its new output. When you add performance products to a vehicle, the gains do not necessarily stack. What I mean is if new exhaust adds 10 horsepower and a programmer adds 20 that doesn't mean that you added 30 horsepower; only that you increased it by up to 30 but its likely less. So we can provide a ball park figure but putting the vehicle...

  • Engine Showing Error Code After Installing Cold Air Intake
  • According to my research, the most common cause of having that code would be a dirty or improperly installed MAF sensor. Make sure the MAF sensor is fully inserted into the intake tube. Since your system uses an oil-based filter, there might have been too much oil on the filter, which in turn contaminated the sensor. You can pull the sensor from the intake tube, and use an aerosol based electrical contact cleaner on the sensor. A vacuum leak can cause the error code, as well. Make sure...

Consumers of aftermarket products are protected by the Federal Magnusson- Moss Warranty Act.
