  • Although not designed for use with custom running boards, the TorkLift Talon Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Aluminum - Front # TLC2204A could be used as a rear support for custom running boards. The strength for a step will most likely be there, but they have not been tested for that application so would not be covered under warranty if they were to fail. First, the Camper Tie Downs, # TDSF, that you have referenced will fit your truck and fit in the truck stake pockets. If you do not want something in the stake pockets, then I recommend going with Camper Hold Down, # HSSF, which wrap around the bed side. For either kit, use Camper Tie Down Hardware Package, # TDHP.
