This is going to help whenever trying to pass vehicles on the highway, or trying to park our trailer. Our towing mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view to whatever we need. It's going to secure using the four tabs, and two straps to the back. Our straps are going to have a rubber coating to prevent any scratches or abrasions, and ratchet down to give us a nice, secure fit. With our K Source mirror installed, we can partially fold in our factory mirror to get into those tight spaces.

CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Colorado

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Colorado we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror, part number 11650. So here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I step away you lose track of me. That's where our tow mirror is going to come into play, and this is going to greatly benefit us whether we're pulling down the highway and we need to change lanes, pulling up to the camp grounds, or even backing our trailer up. Now our tow mirror is fully adjustable. If we loosen this knob here we're going to be able to adjust our mirror at about just any angle we may need. Now if we loosen this knob here you can actually tilt out mirror down and away, or we can bring it up for a better angle or a wider view. Now if we come to the two knobs on top and we loosen those up we can actually extend our mirror out giving us an even wider view.

K Source Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install, the K Source Universal Clip On Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. So here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see my in the factory mirror. But if I step away, you lose track of me. But that's where our tow mirrors going to come into play. Now it's going to give us a better view of what's around us, whether we're driving down the highway, backing up our trailer, or even pulling up to the campgrounds. Our tow mirror's going to have full adjustability, and we're going to be able to adjust it up and down, left and right, to get that perfect viewing angle, as well as being able to rotate it to the side for a wide angle view. Now the way it's going to attach, is there's going to be four small tabs that fit in between our glass and our housing, as well as two straps that are going to come around the back side. Now even though our mirror is going to attach to our factory mirror, we're not going to lose any adjustability, still being able to adjust our factory mirror to the full extent, so we can safely get down the road. And for those close quarter situations, maybe pulling it a parking spot, we can still fold our mirror in, just want to be aware that we can't fold it fully in because it will make contact right here on the door. Now on the back, we're going to have two straps that are going to secure it down, and they're going to have a nice rubber pad that not only's going to give us a nice grip to our factory mirror, but it's also going to give us a little protection, so we're not going to have to worry about any abrasions on our factory mirror. Now one thing I really like about these mirrors is the fact that they are universal. So if you have several different vehicles in your family that you tow with, chances are they might fit those as well.

CIPA Clamp On Towing Mirror Installation - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're gonna be taking a look at showing you how to install this Cipa Universal Clamp On Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. Here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I step away you're gonna lost track of me, but that's where our tow mirror comes into play. This is gonna give us a greater field of view of what's going on around us and it's gonna help us, whether we're driving down the highway, backing our trailer up or even pulling up to the campgrounds. Our mirror's gonna be fully adjustable, so we can get the correct angle when we go down the road and we're even able to turn it to the side to get more of a wide angle view. Now, the arm here is extendable, so we can just loosen up this knob here and we can slide our mirror out, tighten it back down and having even more of a wide angle view. Now, the way our tow mirror's gonna attach is it's gonna clamp on in these two spots to our factory mirror houses going right underneath our glass and our housing. It's gonna have a nice landing rubber pad, so we don't have to worry about any scratches or abrasions on our factory mirror. Now, the clamps or the landing pad's not gonna interfere with our mirror and we're still gonna have full adjustment being able to get the perfect angle to get us down the road safely. For those tight quarter situations where we may need to fold our mirror in we're still able to do that even with the mirror attached. Now, one of my favorite things about these mirrors is the fact that they are universal, so if you have several different vehicles in your family that you tow with chances are these might fit those as well. Now, they do come in a quantity of one, so if you need one for the passenger side, so ahead and order using the same part number. Now that we've gone over some of the features and benefits let's show you how easy it is to get this installed.

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2015 Honda CR-V

Today, on our 2015 Honda CRV, we'll be taking a look at the K Source Universal Towing Mirror, part number: KS3891. Now, we've gone ahead and hooked up to our trailer, we have our towing mirror installed. In our factory mirror, we're going to have clear visibility to the rear of our trailer; though if I step out to the side, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to help whenever we're trying to pass vehicles on the highway or trying to park our trailer. Our towing mirrors fully-adjustable to change our field-of-view. The two tabs at the top and the two at the bottom are going to fit around the housing of our factory mirror. This is not going to interfere with that mirror, so we can still adjust it. The ratcheting straps on the back are going to give us a nice, secure fit and our not going to cause any scratches or abrasions with the rubber coating. With the K Source mirror still installed, we can partially fold-in our factory mirror to get into those tight spaces. CIPA Clamp on Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2015 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2015 Honda CR-V, we're going to be test fitting the CIPA Universal Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. Where I'm standing right now, this is going to be your normal field of view when you travel without a towing mirror attached. However, if I take a few steps out here, as you can see this greatly increases your field of view while you're towing your camper or your trailer. The towing mirror is fully adjustable, to rotate to wherever you need it, and can go back and forth, and be adjusted up and down as well. If you need the mirror up higher, it is adjustable on the back side here by loosening up or tightening up the clamp. By loosening up this knob here, you can see how it can extend or retract to where you need it as well. With our mirror installed, you can see it's not going to impede any view or movement for your mirror here, and also you can still fold it in if need be. Also, this is a clamp on style that just clamps up to the top, as opposed to the straps where you'd have to wrap it around your mirror like so, which can get in the way of the lights on your mirror as well. This comes in a quantity of one, so if you wanted one for your passenger side, just simply purchase another. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the mirror, let's go ahead and show you how it installs.

CIPA Clamp On Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Nissan Murano

This is going to help whenever we're trying to pass vehicles on the highway or trying to park our trailer. Our mirror is fully adjustable, to change our field of view. We can also lengthen our field of view to the side if we undo our nut, here at the top, and widen our field of view even more. You always want to make sure that you do tighten down your nut, once you get it into your desired position. Our mirror's secured with two tabs that fit into our housing. We're going to have rubber padding on the clamps that secure to our mirror. We would just loosen and tighten it using the turn knobs at the top.
