CIPA Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2017 Ford Explorer

Today on our 2017 Ford Explorer we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install clip on towing mirror, part number 7070. Now that we're at the back of the trailer you can see we have plenty of visibility in our factory mirror, but if we step outside you can see we lose that visibility, but gained it in our towing mirror. This mirror is fully adjustable to change your field of view. On the front of the mirror it has two plastic clips that attach in between the mirror and the housing. Rubber straps on the back give it a secure fit. Your factor mirror still partially folds in for getting into tight spaces. Now we're going to show you how to install the clip on mirror. What you want to do is you want to line up these tabs with the housing of the mirror.

CIPA Clamp On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 GMC Sierra 1500

Today on our 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 we're going to be doing a test fit on the CIPA Universal Bar Clamp-On Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer, camper, or boat. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror but not so much the factory mirror. If I take a few steps in towards my trailer as you can see there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees, so if you'd like to adjust it to that horizontal position you have that option. It can also be adjusted to most angles.

CIPA Clamp On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 we're going to be taking a look at and installing the CIPA Clamp-On Mirror, part number CM11980. Here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can see me clearly in our factory, but if I take a few steps away to the side you're going to lose track of me, but then you'll see me in our towing mirror. Now that's going to benefit us whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, get into a parking spot, or even pulling up at the camp ground. Now our mirror is going to feature full adjustment. We're going to be able to tilt it, whether it be up, down, left, right, or even if we need a different angle we can actually turn our mirror and get a wider angle. Now if we come up to this knob right here, if we loosen it up, we actually can get a wider view by pulling our arm out and tightening it up. Now we can much greater view and a wider angle.

CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2006 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2006 Honda CRV we're going to be doing a test fit of the CIPA Dual View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 11953. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a small trailer or a camper. As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror but not so much the factory mirror. The larger mirror is going to give us an accurate mirror of what's behind us, while the smaller mirror acts as a spot mirror, and it's going to give us a safe reading of what's around us. If I take a few steps towards my trailer, as you can see there's no blind spots by the way we have it set up, but this is the view you'd get with just your factory mirror. Both the larger and the smaller mirror can be adjusted to most angles.

CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 we're going to be taking a look at and installing the CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 7070. Now here I am at the back of my trailer, clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I take a few steps away you're going to lose sight of me in the factory mirror and I become more clear in the towing mirror. Now that's going to come in handy whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, or if we're getting into a tight spot, or parking, or even pulling up at the camp ground. The mirror's going to give us all the adjustability that we may need. It's going to be able to tilt up and down, left and right, and diagonally. Even if we want a different angle, more of a wide angle, we can actually rotate our mirror and get more of a wide angle that way. We're still going to be able to retain all the movement in our factory mirror, being able to move it up and down, left and right, and diagonally.

CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Kia Sorento

Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento, we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA dual view clip on towing mirror, part number 11953. So here I am at the back of my trailer. You can clearly see me in our factory mirror. When I step to the side, you lose track of me in the factory mirror, but you can clearly see me in our towing mirror. Now, the benefit of having this is when you go to change lanes, you can clearly see what's at the back of your trailer, and not just your vehicle, or if you're parking, or even getting into the campsite it's going to help you out with a wide range of visibility. Now our large mirror here is going to give you an accurate picture of what's directly behind you, whereas our convex mirror here is going to act like a spot mirror. It's going to give you that added security of letting you know what's around you.
