This is a well made and engineered product. I really like how tight and rattle free the hitch is. Setup takes some time to get it just right, but worth the time. The down side is changes made to the kit in the past year or two. The instructions now state to drill some very oversized holes in the bed based off measurements. I find this method to be sloppy. The first kit I used included a pointed bolt. This bolt was installed from under the vehicle and tightened from the bottom to make a mark in the bed of the truck. This made drilling far more accurate and the holes in the bed could be much smaller. I will use this method over the new method. The results are a cleaner and more precise installation.
I've been very happy with the Reese RP 30868 that allowed me to use the puck system on my 2017 Chevy 2500HD Duramax. It seems to be very sturdy and well built. I'm using it with a B&W Companion hitch that is easy to put in and take out with the puck setup. I would have given the RP 30868 5 stars if it would have had the GM base pattern. I'm using the Ford style base that works perfectly fine with it. I am and have a Happy Camper!
This was the deciding factor in purchasing my 2017 Chevrolet 3500. If I could not put my Companion 5th wheel in it, I would find a dually ford. I purchased the kit with the reassurance from customer service while at the dealership after they reassured me they could install it. I am extremely pleased with the look and the function of the product! Thank you!
E trailer is a great company to order from. The operator was very knowledgeable about the product and it shipped the same day I had it two days later. Also the video they had was great. The mount fit on my new Silverado perfectly it called for a four hour job however it only took three. I would definitely order from here again.
I would like to let everyone know that this kit will not except a standard fifth wheel hitch. It will only fit the Elite hitch. (or another manufacturer with the same measurements). I missed this and had to buy an adapter to fit my hitch once i had it installed. Installation was no to difficult with a mechanical back ground and a shop to lift the box to slide the rails in. I think it would be more difficult for the back yard folks but not not impossible. Hope this helps to make your decision on your kit needed.
I love this system, this is my second truck with it. it’s not terribly difficult to install either, as long as your comfortable drilling holes in your new truckbed, and have a huge torque wrench. Will purchase again when I get my next truck.
I installed this in a 2013 Denali SRW, and a 2016 Silverado 3500 DRW. And used a Demco autoslider with Ford factory pins. They work perfectly together.
I recently paid a local company to install the Under-Bed Rail kit on my GMC 2500HD. The total install time with wiring was 5 hrs. It is a beautiful set up. The only thing you see in the box are 4 rubber plugs where the B&W hitch clamps in. Great set up. The box is 100% useable.
Product was easy to install and almost disappears when the 5th wheel hitch is removed. Once I installed these support rails I had a bed liner sprayed in. I can easily install and remove the hitch.
I ordered the frame mount over the internet via the web site. I found the web site to be very accurate to find the correct part to fit my truck. I received the product just three business days later. Upon receipt via UPS, the box was extensively damaged and open on the end. Upon opening, I found all of the hardware and a few of the pucks missing. I made a call the following morning to Etrailer to report the issue. Kevin was so understanding and willing to help with no issues, only wanting to get the order corrected.. He took the information I had and ask I send a few pictures of the damage. I sent them immediately as he said as soon as he got them he would get the replacemant parts in the mail. Three days later I received the missing parts via USPS and in excellent condition. This company is exceptional and are very customer oriented. I have ordered other products also and never been disappointed. Also I have found their prices to be very competitive! They have earned all of my business.
I have been extremely pleased with the under-bed rail kit for our 5th Wheel hitch. It is functioning as expected.
After consulting with seller I decided on the under bed mount RP30868 for my 2017 Chevy 2500HD truck.
The how-to videos are SUPER helpful. the instructions were not very clear about measuring points but the etrailer video showed me exactly where to measure from.
It's a mounting kit for a fifth wheel hitch. Nothing sexy about it. Heavy duty, all parts accounted for. Great service from etrailer. Couldn't beat the price.
The first box I got was missing parts, they shipped the missing parts fast and had no problems installing the hitch. Have ordered many things from etrailer and this was the first problem I had. Will do business with them again.

it's a good kit wasn't to bad to install it's nice to be able to remove the hitch when i'm not using it.
Hitch arrived on time and was completed. Installed 5th wheel today. Everything fit perfectly and am well pleased.

Easy to install. The quality of the material was really made well. The only thing was is that when it was shipped the Box was damaged and some of the parts were missing but you all were able to replace the parts as soon as possible and I appreciate it that
The frame brackets should have been different and bolted to the Factory holes would have made this job easy
