I'm an insurance adjuster with a 2017 Toyota Tacoma and this product is versatile and saves time when needing to disassemble. The Thule ladder rack was easy and simple to assemble, can be done in 304-45 minutes. I carry anywhere from 3 extension ladders and sometimes materials with plenty of room.. It can also carry up to 4 kayaks depending on how they are stacked.. I would recommend this for anyone that needs easy quick dissembling with with no racks sometimes

I recently made a 4 hour trip home after picking up a new kayak while using the following equipment for the first time: Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack, Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier w/Tie-Downs - J-Style, Thule Watersports Adapter for Aeroblade/Aeroblade Edge Bars and Thule Bow/Stern Tie-Downs. The Thule Xsporter Pro fits perfectly on my 2006 Tundra. Easy to install. Very study. I also want to mention the outstanding customer service provided by Samantha H at etrailer. It was a HOT and sweaty install, but then I live in Kihei, HI where surfboards need a ride to the

This rack looks great on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma. My truck has a hard top Tonneau cover and bed rail system. The rack will fit look closely at my pictures for installation.This was not hard to do if you are mechanically inclined. It will take you a bit of time to mount on the truck. Rack come with keys to keep someone from taking it. After seeing firsthand what it took to mount on the truck if a crook wants this rack it will take him/her a good amount of time to remove even if you do not put the locks on the bed rail clamps. Good and solid with the canoe on top. I gave it several test runs on the interstate at 70 mph.Would have gave this rack five stars but it takes a bit of messing around to install. Leaving for and eight hour tip to the Adirondacks soon i will update this when i return.

Best rack system ever!!! I put it together in less than an hour. Now, I can lower the crossbars and drive the truck in my garage with the kayak rack still on it. Note to self: 7ft garage doors are just too low... Fantastic customer service from Allison K. She kept me updated every step of the way from order to delivery. Did some trimming on the truck bed rail to get max distance between brackets. I use the raise lower and removal function often and it’s ease to do. Only con is that I haven’t found a tonneau cover that works with it due to the bracket wrapping the bedrail.

Love these because of the adjustability. I can carry my tent lower than the roofline, or use to carry my canoe above it. The adjustable stops make it easy to change depending on whatever load you're running, ladders, plywood, a boat, etc! The black powder coat happens to match my truck perfectly.

Product works great, just wish there was more instructions and better detailed instructions. There was no instructions for the adapter kit for the rail system in my truck.

it is junk. The load stop tensioners seized up. Two of the end end caps broke off which allowed one of the load stops to then falls off in transit. Watched it bounce down the parkway. I have been using Thule for years. Always happy. I don't know what happened to the quality. It is no longer in their product.

Rack failed within the first month. Locking mech locks up, don't not lock and unscrews itself during travel. Locks to truck fell off. Protective caps broke after several adjustments to hold ladders up. Dont waste your money. I thought Thule was high quality and was wrong.

Probably the best rack I have ever purchased, I was looking for a ladder rack that could adjust easily to fit in a parking garage. Directions were very clear and easy to follow. All required tools are supplied. This rack can be removed fast if needed, and has lockable fittings to keep others from easily removing it.

I ordered a truck rack Monday Sept 17th just after 8am pacific time. Within an hour I received an e-mail that the order was being processed. A short time later i received an e-mail that the order had shipped . I received my order on Friday the 21st. I have installed the Rack in my truck and it looks great. Great rack! Only thing I can say bad is that cat washes won't let you take it through. Guess it has to do with the base breaking and tearing up equipment and people. I just wash my truck myself so no worries!

A great looking product with decent load capacity, but here’s a few issues for me:
1. The instructions are terrible. No words, just pictograms (like IKEA furniture). I had lots of head scratching as there’s extra parts for multiple fits.
2. The stanthions are very difficult to slide up and down. The knobs falls off before the mechanism even loosens.
3. The stanthions do not lower as far as I hoped. The profile of the Tacoma bed prevents them from lowering all the way to the bed floor. Wish I knew this before I purchased. This is a big deal.
4. Tightening the bolts that retain the brackets to the bed rails is finicky at best, and they have loosened over time requiring retightening.
This rack is expensive and has to be super popular with Taco owners so one would think they would have ironed these issues out in advance.

They seemed good was relatively easy to put together the look pretty. If you happen to bump into anything with them slowly or not they will pop at the aluminum base on the side of the truck. As always with racks you should be aware of any items hanging but it did not slow down or give a warning you bump into something it just snapped. They are light and easy - also make sure to lubricate the parts that move or they can bind up.

More expensive than other racks but I was impressed with the quality of the components, the directions and even the packaging. I wanted racks that I could adjust as low as possible to ease the loading of kayaks and just clear the cab. These adjust to just about any height you'd want in 3/4 inch increments. My only doubt is whether the C clamps that secure the bases to the bed rails might loosen over time.

This rack is perfect for my purpose. I routinely get lumber for woodworking that is 12 foot long. With this rack and a rooftop rack option for my Tacoma it is very easy to transport it. The only thing that would improve it is if it were somehow modified so that it could be adjusted down all the way. The Tacoma truck bed sides get in the way of lowering the rack very far.

This is a fantastic product! Looks great, adjust easily. With the toolbox and ladder racks down it really gives the truck a unique look. Less than 5 minutes they can be adjusted up to carry whatever is needed. I attach my hullavator kayak cradle to it in another couple of minutes and am ready to easily load kayak. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

The Thule rack has met all of my expectations quality, ease of installation, and versatility. My install is on a utility trailer used for various tasks. Removing and replacing the rack takes about 15 minutes, highly recommend this product.
