Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at the CIPA replacement side mirror. This is going to be a direct replacement for the driver's side factory mirror on your vehicle. This is designed specifically for the Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC models and mirrors that you see on the screen there. So if you have any of those then you can trust this is going to work with your vehicle. This has been designed to match your manufacturer's specs for a nice custom look and fit.
So it will very easily bolt onto the existing mounting holes using the existing hardware as well as the included bolts and nuts there. And then it is going to give you a nice integrated look. So it's going to look like it came with your vehicle right from the factory. You're not gonna have to worry about that piece together from the junkyard sort of look so it will look really nice on your vehicle. This does have the manual mirror adjustment.
So you can angle it the way it's gonna work best for you. It is an OE grade product, so it is going to hold up, well. It's got a front of the glass it's plated with a reflective chrome so it's gonna give you a nice, clear image. And it is a flat lens so it is gonna provide a true representation of the object size behind you. So as you're changing lanes or backing up you can make sure that you know where you're at and where other motorists are and that sort of thing.
It does have a durable stainless steel housing so it is going to be extremely durable and rustproof. It does have a breakaway design so the mirror will fold in or out when struck. So if you we're to run into the side of your garage or a parking post or something like that it'll fold in to help deter any breakage. And for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is gonna work for you you can see that original equipment number on the screen. This is going to replace that model number.

This mirror fit my truck fine, and was easy to install. I was disappointed to find that the mirror vibrates when traveling down the road, making it harder to use, vs. the OEM Mirror, which did not vibrate.
Quick shipment, replacement mirror exactly as described. Fit my truck perfectly and quickly replaced original broken part. Not as heavy-duty as my original 89 Toyota pick-up mirror but does the job well.
I certainly didn't expect the mirrors to be made of CHEAP plastic, I knew they were made of plastic but they are extremely flimsy When they say break away they me BREAK AWAY. I can tell if I tried to adjust these more than a couple of times they certainly would break away.
