Are you tired of carrying a bulky ring of keys - for your hitch lock and coupler lock, your pickup cover or trailer door, and all the various padlocks securing your equipment? Tired of fumbling for the right key or having to replace a lost key?
BOLT (Breakthrough One-key Lock Technology) has solved that problem by designing a line of locks that can operate with a key you already have handy - your vehicle ignition key.
When you insert your own key into the cylinder, spring-loaded plate tumblers move up and down until they are matched exactly to that key. The first time the key is rotated, the cylinder is uniquely coded to that key. When the key is removed, the cylinder moves into the locked position. When the key is turned again, it will rotate to the unlocked position.

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Bolt Locking Recovery Hook. This hook is going to provide an attachment point for your rope strap or chain so that you can easily recover a stuck vehicle. This will attach to the tab on your vehicle's aftermarket bumper. And you'll just slide this pin in place, hold it where you need it to be, and that will allow you to rotate on that pin so that you can get several different angles, about 160 degrees of rotation there.
This is a durable aluminum construction, so you're not going to have to worry about corrosion or anything like that. It will give you a safe working load limit of 333 pounds, with a maximum load of 10,000 pounds. With that aluminum construction, you're going to have those weight capacities. And you can see, it does have that spring loaded clasp to help secure your strap so you don't have to worry about it coming loose. Our lock here is going to use your vehicle's ignition key. These lock cords are different from one hook to another to accommodate different kinds of manufacturer keys.
This one is going to work for your Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles. You'll just insert your vehicle's ignition key into the lock there, and that will code the lock so that it will always respond to your key, so you don't have to keep track of a separate set of keys, and you'll always have your ignition key handy there. And then, when you remove your key, it will automatically lock so it will be set for you. We do have a stainless steel shutter here that helps keep dirt and moisture out of our lock core. They also provide a hard rubber dust cover to help protect even more from dirt and debris from getting onto that lock face.Very easy to get installed.
Very easy to get that key set up. They do include instructions on that, to help make that a very simple process for you. This is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. And overall, if you're looking for a hook to help with your vehicle recovery, I'd say this is going to be a great option for you. Very easy to get installed and to use.
That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
