Product fit great and seems to work just fint

by:

i was very disappointed that next day delivery did not happen as promised. the parts did arrive, 4 days late however. It is a part that is otherwise difficult to source so I'm grateful for that

by:

Very good spindle for my kayak trailer. I needed something that would be easy to grease and these fit the bill perfectly- better than bearing buddies since the grease gets to the inner bearing.

by:

I have ordered several times from E-trailer. All the products I have ordered, have always been great quality. Have always received orders fast and on time.
E-trailer will not disappoint.

by:

Fast shipping, packaged well, no damages, seems like a heavy duty spindle.

by:

This will work well on my application. Quality machined shaft. I have not used it yet

  • What Size Axle Does a #84 Spindle Fit
A true 1 inch spindle is a BT8 spindle, like # TRU94FR. The next closest one would be the BTR spindle which is commonly referred to as a 1-1/16 inch spindle, like # TRU44FR and is more common than the BT8. Both of these are typically used with 2,000 lb axles. A #84 spindle, like # TRU24FR or # TRU47FR is bigger and is used for 3,500 lb axles. Common sizes for these are 2-3/8 inch round axle, 3 inch round axle, and 2 inch square axle. I have linked a helpful page that shows the different...

  • Replacement Hub and Spindle for Dexter 69-46 Axle
The Dexter 69-46 axle has a straight spindle with # L44649 bearings. For a replacement spindle you can use the BTR E-Z Lube Spindle for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles # TRU44FR. Then for an idler hub, the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles # AKIHUB-545-2-EZ-2K would be a great replacement. If you're looking for a hub and drum assembly then the # AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K is what you need instead.

  • Replacement Hub and Bearings for 1989 Tracker Boat Trailer
Based on the pictures you attached and the outer bearing measurement you provided, it appears that you have 1-1/16 inch spindle like the BTR EZ Lube Spindle # TRU44FR. This particular spindle is designed for 2,000 pound axles and will use the same inner and outer bearing. I have attached the spindle's dimensions so you can compare them to what you have in order to verify the replacement bearing sizes. I recommend using a digital caliper like # PTW80157, as the measurements will need to...

  • Compatible Hub for TRU44FR BTR Spindle
The # TRU44FR spindle you'd looked at is compatible with an L44649 inner and outer bearing, like what's used by the # CE13109. The hub includes the inner and outer bearing and race, the grease seal, the dust cap and the lug nuts. The hub has a 4 on 4 bolt pattern. For a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern, use # AKIHUB-545-2-LFEZ-2K.

  • How Do Trailer Spindles Typically Install on Trailer Axle
Removing a damaged spindle is the easy part - it can be cut off with a torch or saw. But welding on a new one is another matter and requires the new spindle be welded exactly straight. It is actually easier to replace the entire axle with a new one that has good spindles on both ends. This may even be less costly than having a new spindle welded on by a qualified welder. It will also ensure that both spindles will have the same working lifespan, which would not be the case if only one is...

  • Can I Change a 5 on 4-1/2 Drum With A 5 on 5 Drum For A Trailer With 3,500 lb Axles
As long as the drums have the same weight capacity as the axles that you are putting them on then there should be no problems there. If you don't already have the 5 on 5 drums that you are asking about, I recommend using the E-Z Lube Hub and Drum Assembly # 84556UC3-EZ. It has the E-Z lube cap on the end of the drum so if you have E-Z-lube axles it makes greasing your axles easier. It also works great with axles that do not have the E-Z lube option. Since you are taking the 5 on 4-1/2...

The TruRyde Spindle # TRU94FR and our Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-2K are not compatible, but you could use the TruRyde EZ Lube Spindle # TRU44FR instead as it has the correct spindle measurements. For a hub that will work with the TruRyde Spindle # TRU94FR you can use part # AKIHUB-545-2-1K. • Which Grease Seal for Trailstar Boat Trailer
I don't have reference that lists which grease seal the hub on your trailer uses. In order to recommend the correct grease seal, I'll need some information from you. I'll need the inner bearing reference number and the diameter of the spindle where the grease seal rides. When you measure the spindle diameter, you'll need to use a highly accurate measuring tool like a digital caliper. Once I have that information, I'd be happy to recommend a grease seal for you.

  • Availability of Bearings, Seals, and Cap For 2002 Trailstar Trailer
The best way to determine the correct parts for your 2002 Trailstar trailer is to disassemble a hub on one side of the trailer and get the bearing part numbers that are stamped on the bearings. There is an inner and outer bearing. With these part numbers I will be able to determine the bearings, seals, and other parts you might need for your trailer. • Should a Spindle That is Chipping be Replaced
Anytime that a spindle is starting to take damage you will want to replace it as that will affect the performance of your bearings and seal. In this case since that chipping is right where the seal sits (as you mentioned) that will eat at the rubber seal which will likely cause it to fail. A failed seal will leak grease and cause further damage to your spindle/hub area. From the picture you sent in it looks like you have a round BT8 spindle. • Options For Adding Regular 5 On 4-1/2" Hubs To A 1950s Boat Trailer
Hey Troy, thanks for reaching out. We actually get this question fairly frequently since a lot of older trailers used "shorter" hubs compared to the current standard. I am sorry to say that we do not offer any hubs to fit this type of shorter spindle and the parts you are looking for are obsolete. Your best options here will be to replace your spindles with new ones, or to replace the axle entirely. That way you will have no trouble fitting the standard 5 lug hubs. Adding new spindles...
