Thanks for the picture Rich. The BTR E-Z Lube Spindle for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles - 1-1/4" Diameter item # TRU44FR is exactly what you need if your hubs have item # L44649 inner and outer bearings. For a grease seal you'll want item # 34823.

We don't sell axle tubes so you'd need to go through whoever is welding on your spindles to sort out what you need. We do sell entire axles with idler hubs that have a 5 x 4-1/2 lug pattern like the item # e82GR item # CES84XR or item # CE33201GA-HUB. How wide are you wanting your axle to be? We've got quite a few options and this is a way less expensive route than having an axle built.

I don't know what size u-bolts or axle perches to recommend to you without knowing the diameter or shape of your axle.

I recommend the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender item # CE17720. This weld on fender works with 12" wheels and tires measuring up to 22-1/2". It is 7" wide, and 8-1/4" tall.

Hey Rich, did you decide on the width for your new axle, or are you considering one of the complete axles we suggested? I'm curious to know how your project is coming along, as it might help others looking to upgrade their trailers too.
