Can Log Splitter Trailer with Integrated Hub/Wheels be Replaced with Standard Hubs
Updated 09/29/2025 | Published 09/20/2025 >
Question:
Hi, Im looking to convert my log splitter to a conventional trailer hub setup so I can run a more standard 4 or 5 lug 8 wheel, instead of the current wheels, which have the wheel bearings integrated into them. My issue is, the spindles are straight 3/4 diameter, and Im having a hard time finding idler hubs for 3/4 spindles. Would you be able to help with this? Thanks, Matt

Hey Matt, we don't have any hubs that are designed to fit a 3/4 inch straight spindle like what you have.
You could weld on new spindles like the part # TRU44FR so that you could fit standard hubs if that would be something you'd be interested in?

Thank you Jameson, I appreciate the info! Welding on new spindles is definitely an option, I was just looking to see if I happened to be missing something in my search for 3/4" spindle hub/bearing setups. Thank you for your help! Matt
