The grease cap on this hub is specially designed to work with your Dexter E-Z Lube or etrailer Easy Grease axle to make lubricating bearings quick and easy. Just remove the plug on the grease cap, attach a grease gun to the zerk fitting on the end of the spindle, and inject the grease. It will flow easily to both inner and outer bearings. Not only does this make lubricating the bearings easy, but it also helps to prevent corrosion of the hub. This is because you can lubricate the bearings without the mess of taking apart the entire assembly.
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: 8 on 6-1/2 means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: 5 on 4-1/2 means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
Measuring the distance (D) from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

This was just what the doctor ordered! The most difficult part was getting the old corroded hub and bearings off. Once that was accomplished the new hub slid right on. Perfect fit, no grease needed, but extra filled so have towels ready. I took the trailer a couple hundred miles on the freeway with no issues

I was confused about the races so I called in and spoke to Justin, within 5 minutes he had answered my questions and given me the correct part#’s for my application- I went ahead and replaced both sides so I don’t have to worry about it again! I bought a replacement axle and idler hubs for my utility trailer. Overloading with heavy firewood finally took its toll! Everything from etrailer.com showed up by UPS Ground right on schedule and the parts went together very nicely. The hub bearings are factory-lubricated, saving that critical step. I tested it out yesterday and the trailer runs fine. I would have to rate the products and purchasing experience as excellent (5 stars).
Very happy with these. Order came with wrong size seals for my trailer. I didn't know to check on that before ordering. Was able to order proper size, all good.
One hub came with the wrong seal. They covered the cost of the right one. It still wasted time and caused frustration. The studs are already rusting but have not seen road salt. I am doing a major overhaul on this trailer down to bare metal. I haven't road tested it yet. Good price. Easy shopping online.

My son and I were rebuilding a boat from ground up, it had to be finished by July 30.
Myself and eight old men were going to take the boat up the Mississippi River.
We’re going on a 4 day we survived CV-19 boat trip.
Anyway, the wheels fell off the trailer while traveling down the highway to test the boat. My son forget to tighten the lug nuts. The boat was ok but the hubs were destroyed, It took us 3 hours to limp 2000 some feet back home.
So I called etrailer this Friday the 10th of July in the afternoon, Danielle got the replacement hubs to me the 11th of July, Saturday afternoon, Amazing!
You have a customer for life! No one has ever ever treated me like that. I’m telling “EVERYONE” that the customer service at etrailer is second to none.

Great high-quality hubs with pre-packed bearings. I replaced the axle and hubs on a Haul-Master 1195 lb. 4' x 8' folding trailer ( from that ubiquitous store that sells cheap tools - you know the one). I wanted a heavier duty axle with hubs that are standard sizes and could be repaired with readily available parts should I experience a breakdown on the road. These installed on my new axle without a fuss and were perfect on my first 300-mile trip hauling my enduro bike to the trailhead.
Everything I've bought from etrailer has been excellent quality at reasonable prices.
After 1 year they are working as good as new . put on a custom built home made light aluminum trailer to haul a small airplane . work great tires also work great
My order was 7 days late after receiving I realized I ordered the wrong part called an left message for someone to help me get it right still waiting for that call
looks to be made of quality material... I'm very pleased!... we haven't had the opportunity to test them on the road, yet. The only thing that keeps me from rating this with 5 Stars is the lack of a cotter pin included. Not a game changer but, it would have saved me a trip to the local hardware store. But, then again, any excuse to go to the hardware store is fine by me. Like I said... I'm very pleased with the hub and with etrailer's customer service!
