Hey guys. Randy here at etrailer.com. Now a very common problem with RV screen doors is the little sliding panel here. Basically we're supposed to have a panel that will slide inside of the track here and come up and cover this area fully. It's going to help out in those situations where we want to have our windows open, we want to have our door open so that nice air flow can come through there. Maybe it's nice 60-70 degree day and we don't necessarily want to run any of the air or anything.
Basically with this part being open, you're kind of opening yourself up for the critters to get in. Bugs, little flies and things like that and those can be pretty aggravating when we're out there camping. So a really quick and easy solution for that would be from Lippert Components. It's a replacement piece. They call this the motor home bubble panel or whatever you want to call it, but basically it's going to fit in bottom side here and top side here into that track and give us a solution for sliding it in.Now before we put it in there, let me give you a quick measurement so you can confirm it's gonna work for your application.
You can see we're dead on 12 inches side to side and about 12 and maybe an eighth of an inch going that way, which would be more horizontal or left and right. Now, the more open side we want it to be facing the outer edge of the door. We'll fit one side up into our track, flex it just a little bit, that'll allow the bottom side to go in, and then at that point you can see our problems really solved. We're not going to have that access point for those things to get in and out of there that we don't like.

I compared it to my old one and it’s taller which is good. Because my old one keeps falling out of the screen door track.
I just received this replacement slider panel. It was easy to install and seems flexible enough that it's not going to become brittle and break in the future. I enjoy buying from e-trailer. The items are well-packed, great customer communication and easy to work with. I recommend etrailer
top knotch service and quick delivery i have always been happy with items bought before
Just what I ordered. Works like the original. Had to trim it a little to fit but easy with a pair of scissors.
If it was clear it would be better. I bubble is a little small and the slide rubs against the handle.
Communication was great and product fit
Works well.
was a perfect fit
Everything I have bought from etrailer has been exactly what was advertised and the service has been outstanding. The parts I have ordered have been delivered a lot sooner than I would have expected. Great company to buy from.
Just what I needed! The slider that came with our motor home kept falling off. I noticed that this one's measurements indicated it was slightly larger. Sure enough! It stays in the grooves when I slide it. No more falling out!

Still working perfectly.
worked well
The door part I ordered and installed has held up well after a year of RV use. I had to trim it to fit, but with RV's there is always a way to make things work!
We bought this to replace the black Hehr slider to allow more light into the RV. The measurements on this is 12" x 12", which is exactly the size of the slide that it replaced. However, it is so flimsy that it pops out with the slightest jar or shut of the door. More than once we found it on the floor, and that was in the first few hours of installation. So in short, it is useless. I guess I could figure out a way to fortify its strength so that it would work. But, why in heavens name wasn't it made more sturdy in the first place? A complete waste of time, energy, resources and shipping in my book. I really wanted it to work, and cannot recommend it.
Our previous door bubble was cracked and breaking in two. This one is more robust and will most likely stand up better to wear and tear. And the price was better than others we found on line.
Very good service
Etrailer is the best, most knowledgeable place to order rv or trailer parts from.
The item I purchased was back ordered. The web site did not explain this, nor was I notified.. I found out after I called Etrailer.
That being said, the individual was very curtious and helpful. The estimate wait time turne out to be a little shorter than estimated. Item delivered quickly and in good shape on arrival.
Product was exactly as described. Price was reasonable. The item was back ordered and it took a while for it to be shipped. Etrailer was always in contact by email letting me know what the issue was and when it was shipped. They done a GREAT job and I definitely would do business again.
I purchased this item which is described as a bubble but in fact it is a raised panel and being raised not bubbled which would make it curved in my opinion and now it doesn’t fit into my existing door stopper which in fact is a true curve (see picture shown )to accommodate the bubbled original panel. This being said now I need to purchase a stopper that will fit the raised panel ( not actually bubbled ) so the slide will fit properly and close completely. I have not found the stopper on etrailer so I have researched it on Amazon which they offer it at an additional cost anywhere between $15.00 - $17.00 and in addition it’s hit or miss if you get a clear panel or frosted panel according to reviews. I would have liked a clear bubble panel however frosted was in the description and shows clear on the box. So the bubble description is incorrect, raised would be the term used in this case,
The frosted screen door cover was just what I expected. Would have liked clear. There is a gap when close on my keystone raptor
Fits is the slots in the door, but the handle end is open which would allow bugs in. Ended up not using.
Not exactly what I thought it would be. There is a gap at the end that wont keep insect out.
I ordered a frosted panel in the description, but received a clear one. Not sure if it's supposed to be that way or not.

It isnt completely clear, so frosted is the description.
I've relied on etrailer to supply good quality parts and service for a couple of years now. Never a fumble.
