The # TRU37FR EZ Lube or the # TRU57FR standard spindle is compatible with the # AKIHUB-865-7-1-K hub you mentioned. These spindles are compatible with a 5200, 6000 or 7000 lb capacity axle, the axle capacity will depend on the bearing set used. The hub you referenced uses a 25580/14125A bearing set which is good to 7K.

  • Which Trailer Hub Works With the #42 TruRyde Spindle Part # TRU57FR
I do have an option for you but there is not a trailer hub available that will work with the #42 TruRyde Spindle part # TRU57FR and allow for you to use a wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern like the Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire with 14" Galvanized Wheel part # AM3S450. Therefore, you will need to choose a new wheel/tire to work with the trailer hubs that we do have available for this spindle which use a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. For a new wheel/tire with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt...

  • Trailer Spindle, Hub and Drum, and Electric Brakes for a Fabricated Utility Reel Trailer
Spindle # TRU37FR is the highest capacity spindle we have at 2600 pounds. It is a 2-1/4 inch round stub. The part of the stub before the brake mounting flange is 3 inches but the length including the part on the other side of the flange before it tapers down to a smaller diameter would be 6 inches. Then you could use hub and drum assembly # 8-219-4UC3-EZ which does fit the spindle and it has an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern. For electric brakes you can use # 23-105 for the left and # 23-106...

  • What Hubs Fit Spindle # TRU57FR
The spindle part # TRU57FR would fit idler hubs like part # 42655UC1 or brake/drums like part # 8-201-51UC3-EZ. Both of these have a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. I attached a link to a page that has hubs that fit this spindle for you to check out as well.

  • Will TruRyde Spindle TRU57FR Fit Dexter Trailer Hub Assembly 42865-KIT
The TruRyde #42 Spindle # TRU57FR is compatible with the Dexter Trailer Hub Assembly # 42865-KIT. Since the hub uses bearings 25580 and 14125A, whose inner diameters match up to the spindle dimensions, the hub will work on the spindle. Spindles need to be professionally welded on perfectly straight and concentric to ensure you do not have issues with trailer tracking or uneven tire wear.

  • Large Spindle and 8 Lug Hub Assembly For Crane Build
Our strongest regular spindle is the #42 Spindle, # TRU57FR. This spindle is for a 7000 lb axle and the idler hub assembly is # AKIHUB-865-7-1-K. If you wanted a drum assembly with brakes, you would want the # AKHD-865-7-2-K hub and drum assembly with the # AKEBRK-7L-SA brake assembly. We carry heavier drum and brake assemblies, but this is the largest spindle we carry.

  • 5-on-4-1/2-Bolt Pattern Hub for Use on Redline 2-1/4-Inch Spindle # TRU57FR
Selection of a compatible hub for use on the Spindle # TRU57FR requires matching up the bearing set that fits this spindle (25580 inner bearing and LM67048 outer bearing) to the bearings in the hub. We do offer a number of hub kits that use this same bearing set and all can be seen on the link at right. However, none of these has a 3500-lb capacity and none has the required 5-on-4-1/2-inch bolt pattern. All of these hubs use at least 6 lugs. You may find it easier to select a complete...

  • Will Trailer Hub Assembly part # 42655UC1-EZ Fit a Spindle TRU57FR

  • Compatibility of AKHD-655-6-K with TRU57FR # 42 Spindles
The # TRU57FR spindle and # AKHD-655-6-K hub you mentioned are indeed compatible with each other. If you purchase the # AKHD-655-6-K hub, the 25580 and 15123 bearings, races, GS2250DL grease seal, grease cap, and lug nuts are included, so you wouldn't need to pick up the # BK3-100 bearing kit unless you wanted to have some spare parts on hand.

  • Compatibility of Redline Replacement Axle Spindles with Dexter Hubs
TruRyde Spindles are indeed compatible with Dexter hubs, if the spindle is matched properly with the bearings your hub uses. To find the correct spindle, match the inside diameter of your inner bearing, outer bearing and grease seal to the dimensions of the bearing surface of the spindle, as shown in the photo I provided. You'll also need to match the weight capacity of the spindle with that of the axle.

  • Capacity of Trailer Axle Spindles # TRU57FR and # TRU34FR
The only capacities we have for the two spindles you mentioned is the capacity of them if they are used as they are intended on a trailer axle. The part # TRU34FR is for a 3,000 lb axle so it has a 1,500 lb capacity and the # TRU57FR is intended for a 5,000 lb axle so it has a 2,500 lb capacity.

  • What Size Spindle is Needed for a M/H trailer
The axle spindle you need to order will depend on the weight capacity of your trailer and on the type of spindle (see link) already being used, if you only need to replace one spindle. To figure out which spindle is correct you can use the bearing part numbers, both inner and outer, and the shape and length of the spindle stub on your trailer. The bearing numbers will let you cross reference the correct spindle measurements for your hub. The axle stub shape and length will allow you...

You will be able to use the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA. • Replacement Spindle for 6,000 Pound Axle
The spindle where your grease seal sits should be smooth as you mentioned. It looks like a bearing probably blew on your hub to cause that type of damage on the spindle. Your only option will be to replace the spindle or the entire axle. If you have a 6,000 pound axle, the spindle we have available is the TruRyde # TRU57FR. This spindle uses the # 25580 inner bearing and # 14125A outer bearing so you will want to make sure this matches up to your current hubs. Just note that the replacement...

If just the spindle is bent, we have the #42 Spindle for 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb Trailer Axles - 2-1/4" Diameter # TRU57FR as a replacement. If you have more than a bent spindle then the other option is to replace your entire axle. Because you don't have the hangers and leaf springs for a thru-axle replacement, the best option we have is to replace your axle with the slightly higher capacity Timbren Axle-less system. I recommend using the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System...

  • Which Spindle is Used with Trailer Hub Assembly, Part # 42865UC1
There are two spindle options for the Trailer Hub Assembly, part # 42865-KIT. The spindle used would depend on the capacity of your axle. For a 5000 pound axle, use part # TRU57FR. For a 5200 pound axle, you would use part # TRU37FR. The TRU37FR is an EZ lube spindle with the zerk fitting for adding grease to the bearing assemblies.
