Bushings are not a true 11/16 size so they do not seat properly in the spring. I called MorRyde and they said they have had some other people call in with the same issue. I wasn't able to use the kit so I had to return. I tried a second kit and had the same problem so it must be a bad production run. I was using brand new Dexter springs so it wasn't a worn spring issue.

by:

Removed the old hardware and plastic bushing were found worn and junky. New hardware went in fine and felt great. All torqued up and ready for the road! Peace of mind is worth it!

by:

Seen a lot of reviews about the torque specs on these wet bolt nuts. 80 ft lbs is way to much torque on these nuts, therefore you can not grease them because the the spring hanger is smashed against the spring eye too much. They are lock nuts, they won’t fall off. I torqued them to 80 ft lbs and they wouldn’t take grease. I retorqued them to 50 ft lbs and they took grease perfectly. 50 ft lbs is is plenty on these bolts. I also anti seized all the bronze bushings and wet bolts when installing them. I then pulled the camper 100 miles and retorqued the nuts to 60 ft lbs. I once again greased the wet bolts, if you follow this procedure it will work perfectly.

This is a great kit! Super well-made and easy to follow installation instructions. I installed this on a Lippert Road Armor equipped 2022 Keystone Cougar 23MLS and everything fit perfect.
The only issue I had was one of the grease zerk fittings was different and did not fit my grease gun, so I just swapped it with another zerk and it was fixed.

We have put about 5k miles on these in a year and have had no issues! I grease them before major trips. These fixed the squeaking issues we were having. The old nylon s in the leaf springs were worn out after only 2 years, so these should last quite a bit longer.

by:

etrailer has fast shipping, and is a great online retailer. The MORyde upgrade kit fit perfectly and is well worth the cost. While time will tell, I currently see no reason why the wet bolts and heavy duty shackles would not outlast the flimsy stock shackles.

by:

The lady I spoke with about ordering this item was tremendously helpful in finding what I needed.Shipping was fast.Item actually arrived a day early. The service is great every time I order from E-trailer

by:

This is the second travel trailer / 5th wheel that I have upgraded with the MORryde wet bolts and shackles. The installation is pretty straight forward, the second side always takes me quite a bit less time to complete than the first side. I spent over 4 hours on the 1st side and about 1.5 hours on the second. I also installed a new MORryde equalizer at the same time. The original equipment nylon bushings were almost worn completely through on every bolt. I had 2 shackled that bolt hole had become an oval instead of round, and one shackle that was cracked. I have not had a chance to take my 5th wheel out since completing the job,but the creaks and squeaks that were present when raising and lowering the front landing gear are gone. I expect that it will ride and tow much smoother, just as my travel trailer did when I made the same upgrades. Great products, much better quality than factory installed parts.

by:

The package arrived as scheduled. Must have gotten banged around as the box had slight damage in one corner and two of the shackels were broken away from the package. The shackels sure look heavy duty. I could see a bolt breaking before any of these shackels

@Glenn Yes, the upgraded suspension components makes a huge difference Glenn =) Glad you have it on their now!

by:

As long as you have the basic tools and follow instruction manual given with each product it's pretty easy for do it yourselfer. It behove ANY trailer owner to jack the trailer up and check the bushings and shackles. I'm very satisfied with my equalizer, wet bolt and x-factor frame ties. I was really happy with the representatives from etrailer.com,they were able to help without hesitation or reading from a q card.

by:

Compared to the stock originals, the shackles are much heavier duty and comes with grease fittings on the bolt. After about a year it has worked great with no issues.

by:

Material wise this is a far superior product over the manufactured parts. The straps and markedly thicker, and will outlast the stock. Combined with the wet bolt enhancement allows you to grease the moving parts of the linkage and that my friends is another good reason to get this upgrade. No more pulling into camp squeaking like a rusty old buckets bolts.

by:

I thought it was coming via ups , but mistakenly misread the instructions when ordering . I just don’t really care for usps service !!! But on a Happier note the product was PERFECT and Packing was Perfect, overall packaging was in condition , and thanks you for your services (Etrailer) have bought from your company previously in the past and absolutely love ya’ll !!! Especially on the videos of the products you carry and promote !!!! Keep up the GREAT Customer Service !!!! We are semi fu timer RV’ers and just love doing business with you! Take Care etrailer!!!!!

by:

This was an amazing upgrade to my squeaky trailer. I bought a cheap utility trailer during Covid so I already paid too much for it and almost immediately it was noisy. After four years of light use I could see wear on the thin shackles that came with the trailer so I bought this kit. It was easy to install because I have ball joint removal tool but I'm sure there's more ways to get the "locking" bolts out without bending the hangers. It was quiet from the get go and the trailer seems to ride more stable. This is the third kit I've purchased because most trailers come with thin shackles that wear out and I've seen too many break.

by:

wasn't too bad to install, much better setup and given that my trailer is barely a year old and really not a lot of miles, the plastic bushings were already wearing out... worth considering for anyone.

by:

Make sure your suspension is in top working order and keep them lub’ed. Perfect replacement parts, thanks E Trailer!

by:

Installation was pretty straight forward. My travel trailer pulls better and feels smoother going down the road.

by:

Heavy duty shackles, installed in a few hours.
Make sure you measure all of the bolts, the bolts supplied for the end of the spring (not the shackle bolts) were to short for my camper.

Great. Travel to Alaska and back no issues with shackles. They handled Alaska ruff roads

by:

Great upgrade to stock shackles and bolts. The grease from the wet bolts also quiets down all the noise from the stock plastic bushings.

by:

I installed these along with cushioned equalizer and shocks on my 37' 5th wheel. I have less fear of the cabinets falling off the wall on the great interstate road system!
I should have done this a long time ago.

by:

After pulling the travel trailer over some very rough roads, when entering the trailer I found no doors or drawers opened and nothing out of place. The ride was much smoother and the trailer seemed to track better behind the tow vehicle.

Glad these are still holding up well John and thanks for the photo! What trailer do you have these on?

by:

The installation went well. It took me about one hour and twenty minutes to install the MORryde CRE3000 and the shackle kit on one side because I was cautious, making sure I installed it correctly. The other side went much faster, completing it in about 30 minutes. I am looking forward to seeing how the camper responds to rough roads.

by:

This was a great upgrade to the OEM suspension components on y travel trailer. The trailer is only 18-months-old, but as you can see in the video, the original suspension was completely shot after about 20,000 miles.
The kit replaces the OEM nylon bushings with bronze, and more important, contains wet bolts with zerk fittings. The shackles are much more heavy-duty than the originals. The kit was easy to install in an afternoon.

My 2019 Coachman Freedom Express Liberty 320BHDS was chewing the inside treads of tires regardless of rotations. Thanks to Kyle B and Daylon H, your team quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended this suspension upgrade including new 6000lb leaf springs, u-bolts, equalizer and the MORyde wetbolt hardware kit. Installation took the better part of a weekend, but was a complete success. Be mindful of the torque specs and ensuring your RV is properly supported (including axles). Thanks to some recently cut stumps, I was able to support boths sides of the axles to safely torque bolts to 80lbs. RV rides about 1.5 inches higher, but nice and smooth. No noticeable camber with the tires now. Time will tell, but sincere thanks to Kyle and Daylon for taking their time to view my photos and answer questions.

You do have to take a measurement, though it's pretty easy, as all you need to do is measure your current leaf springs from center-to-center of the spring eyes.
