Question:
I have a 2018 Jayco 265 RLS. I need to replace the leaf springs and would like to increase their rating. I have 3500 lb tandem Lippert axles. I would also like to add the CRE3000 with wet bolts. Can you make part recommendations for this job? Thank you for your help. Sincerely

Hey Jeff! I can help you find the right parts to upgrade everything but you're going to need to take some measurements. For the leaf springs, you will need to get the spring eye to spring eye measurement or the flat length as outlined in the article I attached further down on this page. You don't want to go too crazy with a higher capacity or you're going to get a rough ride. 4,000 lb leaf springs like the 25-1/4" Long # e57SR or the 26" Long # e22YR would be a good choice if they match your current length.
For the CRE3000 you need to measure your wheelbase center to center. If you have a 33" wheelbase use the # MR87ZR and for a 35" wheelbase # MR27ZR. For the wet bolts I recommend a complete kit with heavy duty shackles. Once again, measure your current shackle straps center hole to center hole. If they're 2-1/4" you need the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers # MR46ZR and for 3-1/8" # MR76ZR.
Any big trips planned with your Jayco this summer?

Hey Jeff, did you get a chance to measure your leaf springs and wheelbase for the upgrades? I’m curious to know how it all worked out for you, as it could really help others looking to make similar improvements.
