Rubber Equalizers Absorb Road Shock and Reduce Chucking

Rubber Equalizer Vs Standard Equalizer

Hauling a trailer that's still equipped with standard steel equalizers is bound to produce a less-than-ideal towing experience. This is because those standard equalizers allow the road shock from your trailer to transfer directly to your tow vehicle, resulting in a rough, bumpy ride.

In addition, road shock can put added stress on your trailer's frame, suspension, running gear, and more, all of which can lead to increased maintenance time and cost. It can also cause damage to the contents of your trailer due to constant chucking and jerking. And the last thing you want is for your electronics to be tossed around inside your RV before you set up camp, or for your horse to get jostled around as you bring him home from the show.

These rubber equalizers help to solve those problems. When road shock occurs while hauling your trailer, the rubber inserts absorb and dampen the vibration and bounce, resulting in a less bumpy ride. The inserts also absorb the back-and-forth movement to reduce chucking and jerking so that you don't get thrown around inside your cab.

CRE3000 Rubber Insert

Each of these equalizers also offers up to 3" of up-and-down travel. The more travel your suspension has, the better it is able to compensate for road shock. When you hit a pothole, for example, these equalizers allow your suspension to account for that dip on one side so that the opposite wheels aren't forced to compensate. As a result, you'll get a smoother ride, even when you're driving over uneven campground roads or speed bumps.

Easy Installation

These equalizers directly replace your trailer's factory equalizers, so installation is straightforward. Simply remove the shackle links from your factory equalizer and the shoulder bolt from the frame hanger. Remove the factory equalizer and replace it with the MORryde rubber equalizer.

MORryde Shackle Upgrade Kit

You can reuse your existing hardware with these equalizers, but we recommend using MORryde's suspension upgrade kit (sold separately). Factory shackle links wear out pretty quickly and easily, so replacing them with MORryde's thick, heavy-duty shackle links will save you the time and effort of having to frequently replace them. Not to mention you'll get easy-to-grease bolts and long-lasting bronze bushings with the kit for a totally upgraded setup.

  • How to Determine Replacement 6,000 lb Leaf Springs For Arctic Wolf 5th Wheel Trailer
Hey Bekzod, So while we don't have a way of knowing the exact leaf springs for your Arctic Wolf 5th wheel trailer, I can help you determine the correct replacements. You do have to take a measurement, though it's pretty easy, as all you need to do is measure your current leaf springs from center-to-center of the spring eyes. Regarding the accuracy, since the springs flatten a bit over time, you should go with ones that measure a bit shorter than what you currently have. For example, if...

To find the correct replacement equalizer and wet bolt/shackle strap kit for your 2024 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22BHE you'll need to first take a few measurements. For the equalizer you'll want to measure from center to center of the shackle strap bolt holes and from the center of the hanger bolt hole down to the center of the shackle strap holes. For the wet bolts/shackle straps you'll need to measure from center to center of the bolt holes. When replacing suspension components it's...

  • How to Pick Out MORryde Equalizer Kit If Wheelbase is 34 inches
Hey Carl, this is a great question that we have checked with MORryde on in the past. They told me in your situation to have you measure from the center of the front hanger bolt to the rear hanger bolt to pick out the correct SRE4000. If that distance is 59 inches go with the # MR87ZR or if 61 inch # MR27ZR.

The MORryde CRE3000 # MR27ZR is going to be the best option for your camper. While this is rated for axles up to 8K all of the CRE3000 equalizers carry this same weight capacity. • Replacement For 24 Inch 3,500 lb Leaf Springs & Equalizer Upgrade
Thanks so much for that info, and to replace your current leaf springs that are 24 inches apart from center eye to center eye, you want springs that are slightly shorter because over time they flatten out. So for replacements I recommend 23-1/8" long springs: - 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 23-1/8" Long # e59SR Then to replace your equalizer with a MORryde equalizer, you'll want to measure your axle from center to center, which will be your wheelbase, and the correct...

Yeah I wouldn't trust AI on that one. The easiest way to determine what size shackle straps you need is going to be to measure yours. The shackles on the MORryde item # MR58ZR measure 2-1/4" long and the shackles with item # MR98ZR are 3-1/8" long. The wheel spacing is more of a guideline, so to determine the correct one, you need to measure your equalizer and find a match (or one as close as possible).
