Which MORryde AllTrek 4000 Equalizers Do I Need for a 36" Wheelbase?

Updated 12/28/2025 | Published 12/26/2025

Question:

I have a 2025 Delta 252rl. I would like to upgrade the suspension and my measuring showed a 36 inch between hubs. I would like the the MORryde Alltrek 4000 equalizers with heavy duty shackles and wet bolts. Do I need the 33 or the 35 ? Thank you

Hey David. Based off of wheel base the MORryde AllTrek 4000 Equalizers for Tandem Axle Trailers item # MR29DR is going to be the closest option. However, I recommend measuring one of your current equalizers so we can be sure this is the best fit. A longer or shorter equalizer will throw off the geometry of your suspension.

The MORryde AllTrek 4000 Equalizers 35" Wheelbase item # MR29DR has a hole spacing of 8" from center hole to center hole. The MORryde AllTrek 33" Wheelbase item # MR89DR has the holes spaced at 6-1/2" apart.

When you swap out your equalizers, you'll also want to switch out your hardware as those suspension bolts are only meant to be torqued down once. You'll want to pick a kit with the closest size to your current shackle straps.

The MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers item # MR46ZR is for 2-1/4" shackles or item # MR76ZR is for 3-1/8" shackles. These kits come with the bronze bushings, wet bolts and shackle straps.

What are the dimensions of your current equalizers?

@DavidS If you have a 35" axle spread then you'll want to go with the MORryde AllTrek 4000 Equalizers 35" Wheelbase item # MR29DR. I still recommend measuring your shackle straps when you get the opportunity because you will need to replace those suspension bolts.

@DavidS I installed the MORryde AllTrek 4000 Equalizers, heavy-duty shackles, and new wet bolts on my 2018 Grand Design 310gk. I had 40,000 miles on my stock Lippert Equa-Flex suspension and thought it was time for an upgrade. After installing the AllTrek 4000s, my camper sat about an inch taller due to additional rubber/travel. I also installed the MORryde XF12-001 X-Factor Crossmember to provide extra frame stability to the leef springs mounts. I pull a 12' trailer carrying a sxs behind my 5th wheel so I felt the importance to beef up my existing suspension and axel sway/stability. I now have about 9,000 miles on the new setup and feel very confident in its performance. The 5ther and 12' trailer pulls as steady as a rock.

We have used the moryde on a couple camping trips. Last was queen wilhelma. On return trip was behind a truck bouncing over several bridge crossovers. They bounced... we didn't... Nice upgrade.... very nice and worth it. Last year went thru Oklahoma.... including Oklahoma city.... bounced like crazy. Next trip west expect our airborne shenanigans should be less. Absolutely great deal.
