Features to know about

One Person Parking with an Electric Trailer Dolly

Force 5K with trailer

After a long drive, all you want is to get your trailer parked so you can unwind. The Force electric trailer dolly puts real power and precision in your grip, so you can tuck your trailer into a narrow driveway or beside your garage with no stress or anxiety. The 1.5 hp electric motor moves up to 5,000 lbs for you, with a rechargeable 12V battery that keeps you going until the job is done. When you're ready to move the dolly itself, just switch to the free spool setting. This makes it easy to roll the unit by hand, so you can position it exactly where you want, even in a crowded garage or storage area.

Easy Trailer Parking on Grass, Gravel, and Pavement

Force 5K weight tires grade info

Park confidently on firm surfaces like asphalt, grass, or packed gravel. Wide tires give you reliable traction and stability, even if the ground is not perfectly level or paved. The Force is designed for mild slopes up to 6 percent, so it is ideal for typical driveways and parking areas, but not for steep hills or boat ramps. Just hook up, choose your speed, and steer with a comfortable, easy-grip handle. There are no awkward levers and no confusing controls. You can move slowly for perfect parking or pick up the pace for open ground.

How to Safely Attach and Move Your Trailer with the Force Dolly

Connect and operate collage

Sometimes you need to move your trailer across the yard or fit it into a tight space at a storage lot. The Force makes the whole process straightforward and secure from start to finish. Slide the Stablelock ball and adapter under your coupler and click it into place, then use the included tool to tighten the adapter so your trailer is locked on. Lower the trailer so the adapter slides into the receiver tube on the dolly.

tight fit garage

Once your trailer is supported, plug in the 7-way cord and you are ready to roll by pressing the forward or reverse rocker switch. The Force activates your trailer's brakes and tail lights, giving you better control as you maneuver around corners or line up in a crowded storage row.

Battery, Charger, and Everything You Need Included

What's included

Stay ready for every move. The Force comes with a 12-volt U1 Interstate battery, a built-in voltmeter, a clear display, and an automatic charger. You can check your battery status at a glance before you even hook up your trailer, so you avoid surprises or interruptions while parking. Both 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls are included, so you are ready for most standard trailers right out of the box. All necessary cables and connectors are in the kit, making setup straightforward.

it is unstable on any sloped surface

I purchased the 10k version of the Parkit360 due to the weight of my boat. I wanted to park it for the winter into a fully enclosed 12x30 storage unit. I don't know why storage places think you can back a large trailer load into a perpendicular space from only a street wide (less than?) apron but I figured this trailer dolly would be ideal for that.
The unit itself seems well built and nothing was damaged in shipment plus it came earlier than expected. After assembly and charging the battery it was ready to self propel up ramps into the back of my pickup. It handled that part, and offloading from the pickup, just fine. It has plenty of power to move my tandem axled 30' trailer and boat (22'Thunderjet w/offshore bracket) on level hardpacked ground. As others mention, it isn't for the faint of weight to operate this unit with load but I ALMOST got the boat into the storage unit. Try backing a 9' wide 32' long (motors stick out even when vertical) heavy into a 10' wide door with 20 feet of asphalt in front of it to work with. An entrepreneurial type could have made some money renting chairs and selling beverages to people watching the show. I got the boat into the storage unit with the rear axle over the slight 1" rain gutter slope at the floor transition but I could not get the front axel to go. The unit just does not have the grunt to do it. I tried shims at the riser, fast, slow, had my son pushing boat, standing on the trailer tongue, I tried everything and the Parkit360 tires would simply spin on the asphalt on a direct straight line of approach. With the weight of the boat/trailer all on the front axle the dolly could not push it over the lip. Everything else was level. I did see another review speaking of this very same issue but thought "nah, I can make it work". No, you can't make it work when you don't have room to wiggle. If there is any lip or difference in elevation in the surface, forget it. So, now I have a $2k+ paperweight sitting in my garage.
Once I decided to abandon the effort, it was another 1.5 hours to get it out and to the truck since I ran into the gravel outside of the asphalt apron which was sloped for storm drainage. The trailer fell off the Parkit360 when it tilted in the gravel several times while trying to get the trailer out and turned enough to allow backing up to it with my pickup to take it home again. One trip home to get floor jack to lift trailer tongue to get the dolly under the hitch again.
Issues besides the lack of power to push load over slight lip:
With the unit at rest, the charging cord receptacle is under the unit and the battery charger status display is on the side. No reason I should have to lift the unit up to plug in the charger cord or stand on my head to see the charger status.
The 2" ball kept popping out of the hitch on the trailer (yes, the coupler lock was engaged and the set screws on the provided ball always started out at 10 o'clock and I held it as I was tightening it) as I was tightening the ball mount of the Parkit.
The puzzle piece had to come out due to the type of coupler lock but it was still not enough to give clearance required which prevented the leveling of the mount.
If you have surge brake style trailer hitch, you will most likely rub the lower section of the trailer tongue on the tires if you try to turn the Parkit anything more than say 30 degrees which very much hampered my efforts trying to get the boat into and back out of the storage unit.
Not recommended for surge brake trailer. Not recommended for any lip you may have to attempt to go over. It can handle 6 degree ramp/slope but that is not the same as an immediate off-level lip as in a transition between parking lot and garage.
I am extremely disappointed in my purchase but I used it so what can I do? I guess I'm stuck with it.

Excellent product and great service. Shipped quickly. I'm a repeat customer!

by:

I only wish I purchased this sooner! Awesome piece of equipment, easy to use, love it !!

by:

Works as advertised, moved our 26ft travel trailer easily and accurately. In minutes the trailer was through the fence gate and parked next to the house. Using my truck to back the trailer into that narrow area would have taken an hour or more.

by:

Based on just having received it and charging the battery as they say

by:

Worst delivery for such an expensive unit. Left outside my house on a rainy day. Never rang my doorbell and told me it arrived

by:

Assembly was easy and works great my husband loves it we use it to back our enclosed trailer into parking spots when we unhook it from our rv takes a little muscle to turn but very manageable way better and safer than the old way we would definitely recommend it

by:

Easy assembly out of the box. Could use some sort of storage for extra hitch balls. Works great and simple to use.

by:

Works great. I have a tight space and would not be able to access the trailer if I had to back in. This was just what I needed.

by:

I have a narrow driveway and a 90 degree turn to the garage. I purchased the 10,000lb dolly to be able to move my 6x14 cargo trailer. The dolly was well packaged, easy to assemble and thoughtfully designed (trailer brake, puzzle piece to level the ball connection to the trailer). There is no way I could have put the trailer in my garage with my truck and especially by myself. This thing rocks. Credit the prompt response to my questions from Parkit sales support for this purchase.

by:

We love our new parkit360. It is so easy to use. Wish we would have had this Gem years ago, but glad we have it now!

by:

I bought the 10k unit to move around my boat/trailer that weigh about 5k lbs. Overall it does the job well, but does take some getting used to. I bought this dolly to keep me from hitting the sides of my garage door (I only have about 1/2" clearance on each side of the boat). Just follow the instructions and make sure you charge the battery after every use

  • Will Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly Work On An Incline?
Hey Tom! Great question. The Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly # PA96VR (5,000 lbs) and # PA46VR (10,000 lbs) will work on an incline. However, if the grade is more than 6% you cannot use the dolly. As long as your driveway is no more than a 6% grade it is safe to use with your trailer. What kind of trailer do you have?

  • Will the Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly Work w/a 4,000 lbs Travel Trailer?
It sure will Russel. The Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly item # PA96VR has a 5,000 lbs capacity. It's going to work great with your Jayco Jay Flight SLX 195RB. It also has both a 2" and 2-5/16" hitch ball included. What kind of ground are you going to be moving your trailer and how far do you have to go?

Hey Dom, thanks for reaching out! The Third Wheel Adapter is only available directly from Parkit360 for the Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly # PA96VR at this point in time, unfortunately. We have the EZ Connect Hitch Adapter # PA78VR which also helps ease the hookup process to your trailer, but it isn't exactly the same as the Third Wheel Adapter. If you're dead-set on the Third Wheel Adapter, you'll need to reach out to Parkit360 directly - https://parkit360.ca/pages/contact-us What...

  • Will Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly Fit Jayco Jay Flight
Hey Brian! The Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly # PA96VR may work on your Jayco Jay Flight without the adapter. We had another customer successfully use it on his Jayco Jay Flight SLX 195RB without one. However, if you have an Atwood coupler that looks like the photos below I would expect to need the adapter. There is one available through Parkit360 but it looks like they don't have it in stock at this time. Let me know if you have one of these couplers, or find it doesn't work,...

  • Will Electric Trailer Dolly Work On Boat Trailer Surge Brakes Or Will It Lock Up When Backing Up?
That’s a great question John, and one a lot of folks run into. The Parkit360 dollies like 5K # PA96VR and 10K # PA66VR can absolutely move a trailer with surge brakes, but you’ll need to keep the actuator from engaging in reverse. The dolly’s 7-way Smart Brake plug doesn’t connect to a surge coupler unless you adapt it. If your trailer uses a 5-flat plug, you can pair the dolly with a 7-way to 5-way adapter like the Hopkins # HM47675. That lets the dolly send 12V power through the reverse-light...

  • Which Parkit360 Electric Trailer Dolly Can Move My Boat Trailer Over Wet Grass?
Hi Tim! You can use the trailer dolly Force # PA96VR on firm, dry grass, but traction will drop off if the ground’s soft or damp. Since it’s a single-motor design, a little extra tongue weight helps the drive tire bite in better. If you’ll be moving on grass or uneven ground regularly, the Parkit360 Transformer # PA66VR is worth a look. It uses dual 1.7-horsepower motors and stabilizer bars to keep both tires driving evenly, so it maintains traction better on slopes or softer surfaces...

  • Will The Electric Trailer Dolly From Parkit360 Work On Gravel Or Will Tires Spin?
Brian, good question. The Force dolly 5K lbs # PA96VR performs best on paved or packed gravel. If your gravel is loose or deep, the narrow drive tires can dig in, but a few wood boards under the trailer wheels usually solve that. For frequent off-pavement use, the bigger Transformer # PA66VR has heavier duty build with 4 wheels/tires and a dual-motor setup that’s a bit more forgiving on uneven ground. Is your trailer single- or dual-axle? That can make a big difference in how tight you...

Hey Mariela, yes the Parkit360 power dollies like the 5k part # PA96VR and the 10k version part # PA46VR does allow you to turn and maneuver the trailer into a parking spot like you are looking for. Is this like a food truck type trailer?

  • Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly Is Hard To Turn Sharply In Tight Spaces
Hey Terry, you’re likely not doing anything wrong. The Force # PA96VR has wide 6-1/2” tires that give great traction, but they don’t pivot sharply. For tight angle turns, it helps to alternate between forward and reverse, “walking” the tongue in smaller movements. If you need to pivot the trailer on its axles, it’s best to push rather than pull to keep weight over the drive wheel. How tight is the space you’re working with? I can suggest a few tricks based on the layout. I've attached...

  • Will Electric Trailer Dolly From Parkit360 Work With 2021 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 195RB 4k lbs ?
Russel, absolutely - the Force Electric Dolly # PA96VR is rated for trailers up to 5,000 lbs gross weight and 900 lbs tongue weight, so you’re right in its comfort zone. It works great on firm, level surfaces like concrete and can even handle gentle slopes up to 6% grade. Just make sure your coupler is the standard overslung type mounted above the frame; this trailer dolly is not compatible with the underslung Atwood couplers on some Jayco Jay Flight and other models. If you don't have...

  • Does Parkit360 Electric Trailer Dolly Come With Both The 2" And 2-5/16" Ball For Different Couplers?
Hey Mike! Yes, both 2” and 2-5/16” hitch balls come standard with the Force # PA96VR. They’re easy to swap with the included thrust washer “puzzle” plate, which keeps the ball seated tight and flush against the coupler. If one of your trailers uses an underslung coupler ball mounted under the frame, Parkit360 does offer adapters for that too (on their site). What kind of trailers are you moving? That might help determine if you’ll want the taller or shorter ball mount.

  • Comparing Which Electric Trailer Dolly To Use For 10,000lb Enclosed Trailer
Good morning, Trevor. If your trailer’s right at 10,000 lbs, go with the Transformer # PA66VR. It’s rated for 15K and uses dual motors and stabilizer bars, so it keeps traction a lot better when turning or on gravel. The Force # PA96VR is great up to 5K and will struggle with that much load or tongue weight. Both use the same 6-1/2inch drive tires and Smart Brake plug, but the Transformer gives you wireless control and way more torque, along with the option to pull 5th wheel and gooseneck...

  • Can The Parkit460 Electric Trailer Dolly Pull Trailer Up Slight Incline / Slope Into Garage?
Hey Tom, yes, the electric trailer dolly # PA96VR is safe to use on inclines up to 6 grade, which is roughly 3-1/2 degrees. Beyond that, it could risk losing traction. On your mild slope, the built-in Smart Brake system will automatically hold the trailer when the dolly isn’t in motion, so it won’t roll away. Do you happen to know the surface type - smooth concrete or something else? That can affect grip a little. And if you can get an idea of the actual grade, that will help make sure...

  • What Type Of Battery Does Parkit360 Force Electric Trailer Dolly Use? Alternate Option For Forklift
Cheryl, the Force dolly # PA96VR runs on a 12V Interstate U1 deep-cycle battery, which comes included. A full charge typically lasts long enough to maneuver several trailers around the yard - around 20–30 minutes of powered use - and the on-board charger plugs right into a standard wall outlet. Parkit360 recommends topping off the battery every couple of months if stored long-term to preserve battery life. Are you planning to keep it on the trailer or store it separately between moves?...

  • How To Connect Electric Brakes From Travel Trailer To The Parkit360 Trailer Dolly
David, great question - the Force dolly # PA96VR has a built-in 7-way Smart Brake connector that automatically controls your trailer’s brakes. When you plug in the trailer’s 7-way, it releases the brakes while you’re moving and re-engages them when the dolly stops or is powered off. That means you don’t need to modify your trailer wiring at all. Is your trailer using standard electric brakes? What type of trailer do you have?
