Updated 12/22/2025 | Published 10/26/2024

Question:

I have a 2025 Alliance Delta 252RL travel trailer with two 4400 lb axles. I would like to upgrade to the MORride 3000 suspension system. Which model should I get ? My axles are 35”apart. I would also like to get the upgraded greaseable shackles. Thank you for your help

Hello Jody, thanks for the picture. Your Dexter 13-122 equalizer is 7-3/4" long and 2-7/8" tall. The replacement equalizer must be identical in size to the original. The best upgraded equalizer to replace this is the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-653-00. This equalizer has a rubber core for absorbing shock. It measures 7-3/4" wide and 3" tall so it will be an acceptable replacement.

The MORryde CRE3000 # MR87ZR you mentioned is 6-1/2" long and 3-1/4" tall so this would not be a good option for replacing your 13-122 equalizer. It would throw your suspension out of center.

As far as upgrading your shackles, I recommend the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR46ZR. This comes with all wet bolts, heavy-duty 1/2" thick shackles and bronze bushings. The shackles included with this kit are 2-1/4" long center hole to center hole. It appears yours are this same size but please do measure and verify.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Hey Jody, how did the swap to the Dexter E-Z Flex suspension kit go on your Alliance Delta trailer? Did the upgraded MORryde shackles fit the way you expected? Your experience could help others looking to make the same upgrade.

@JesseM Hi , I took my time and the Dexter swap went very well, and the MORryde shackles went on well also. They sure are a lot beefier and should hold up a lot better than what came on the RV. Glad I made the switch, thanks for your advice on what to do.

@Jody Awesome thanks for sharing! The MORryde HD shackles are definitely going to last longer than the stock shackles. Keep them properly lubricated and they can last the life of the trailer easily. Glad to hear they are working out. Thanks again for the feedback!
