  • Recommended Shackle Bolt and Equa-Flex Upgrade Kit for a 2018 Keystone Carbon 347
Hey Rick, it looks like your 2018 Keystone Carbon TT Toy Hauler has tandem 6k axles which would mean that the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC145546 is the correct kit. As far as shackles go, you'd need to measure your current shackle and pick a kit that matches. So for instance, if you measured 3 1/8" long, then the Lippert Tandem Axle Equa-Flex AP Kit # LC64FR is what you'd need. If your shackle bolts measure something different, let me know what that is and I'll see what we have.

  • Selecting The Correct Cushioned Equalizer and Wet Bolt Kit For a Grand Design 2800BH
The Lippert Equa-Flex # LC145546 is the closest cushioned equalizer from Lippert to fitting your Grand Design 2800BH. This particular kit is rated for 5K-8K axles. The MORryde CRE3000 # MR27ZR is going to be the best option for your camper. While this is rated for axles up to 8K all of the CRE3000 equalizers carry this same weight capacity. Do understand the different constructions for these equalizers mean while they may look similar they actually operate differently and since the Lippert...

  • Choosing Between Lippert Equa-Flex Or Roadmaster Comfort Ride For 2018 Grand Design Momentum 351M
Personally Russ, if you are planning to keep your 2018 Grand Design Momentum 351M toy hauler and want to benefit from a better ride then upgrading to the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit # RM-2460-2570 makes the most sense. If you choose to keep the Equa-Flex # LC145546 system you can go with the heavier springs but just know that it will likely wear the equalizer even faster since the springs will not flex as much under the weight. This means the Equa-Flex will actually...

  • Replacing Equalizer And Shackles On 2018 Keystone Sprinter 5th Wheel 269FWRLS
Hello George, thanks for reaching out. When replacing equalizers and shackles, it is critical that the replacement parts are identical in size to the stock components. There is a small amount of tolerance, like maybe 1/2" or less, but any difference more than this can throw the suspension off and cause things to go out of alignment. Also, the axle spacing is not the best thing to use for selecting an equalizer. The best way is to go strictly off the dimensions of the current equalizer....

  • Option to Replace Equa-Flex Equalizers on Grand Design Reflection
I could not find any reference to part 435251, though we can help you find the correct replacement for the Equa-Flex on your Grand Design Reflection. To find the right one you need to measure your equalizer from center hole to center hole horizontally and its height from the middle center hole to the top hole. For example, the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 is 6" from center to center of its bolt holes, and 3-1/4" tall. Then the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC145546...

The difference between the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC145546 and the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers 279688 is that # LC145546 can also work with 5K axles and has a greaseable pivot for easy lubrication, whereas 279688 can only work with 6K - 8K axles and does not have a greaseable pivot. Also, the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC145546 does include the 4 wet bolts and flange nuts for install.

  • Replacement Shackles and Equalizers for a 2015 American Auto Hauler w/ 5,200 lbs Axles
I wasn't able to find any specific information on your 2015 AML Auto Hauler open trailer with tandem 5,200 lbs axles current suspensions. There isn't a database I can look at and tell you exactly what part number you will need. The Lippert Tandem Axle Equa-Flex AP Kit - Wet Bolts - 3-1/8" Long Shackles item # LC64FR are a great option and work with 3,000 lbs - 8,000 lbs equalizers. • How to Determine Correct Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers for 5,200 lb Tandem Axles
So I can help you determine which are the correct cushioned Equa-Flex cushioned equalizers are for your 2019 Vanleigh Pinecrest, though this will require you to take a measurement. The reason for that is because there is no such thing as a list of replacement parts or parts that fit specific years, makes and models of trailers - there are just way too many trailers. But it is still an easy thing to determine with a simple ruler, since you already have the important information in that...

The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC145546 that includes the 4 wet bolts has greaseable pivot points. This means you can replace the lower bolts that hold the pivot arms in place and replace them with the 4 wet bolts. This kit is rated for 5,000lb to 8,000lb trailer applications. The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279688 does not have greaseable pivot points and is rated for 6,000lb to 8,000lb trailer applications. Beyond those differences these are the same size with a 4" bolt...

  • How to Determine Correct Equalizer Upgrade Kit
I believe you are asking about an equalizer upgrade kit, and we have no way of knowing what is on a 2003 Sunnybrook but can tell you how to determine it. What you need to do is simply measure from center to center of the bolt holes horizontally, and from the center of the equalizer to the center of the top bolt hole; you'll also need to know your axle's weight capacity. For example, if your equalizers measured 7-1/2" from bolt hole to bolt hole and 4" from center of the equalizer to the...

  • Replacement Suspension Components For a 2015 Keystone Carbon 327 5TH Wheel Toy Hauler
I do see your 2015 Keystone Carbon 327 5th wheel toy hauler comes equipped with 7,000lb axles. I recommend going with the AllTrek 4000 Equalizers # MR29DR since you are replacing your suspension components. This is a superior equalizer to the Equa-flex # LC145546 style you are using. You should also add either the MORryde X-Factor Crossmember # MR33WR or Drop Crossmember # MR84AR if you have any sewer or other components that interfere with the standard crossmember. • Recommended Equalizer Upgrade For A 5,200 Pound Axle On A Horse Trailer
With your axles having a 33 inch wheel base and 5,200 pounds of capacity, we definitely have a couple options available. Both of these options will definitely work with your 33 inch wheel base and can be used with 5,200 pound axles. The first will be the Lippert Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers - Double Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 5K to 8K - Greasable Pivot # LC145546. This will match your 4 inch height, but will be a bit longer at 7-1/2 inches. This shouldn't be an issue, but it may end...

  • What Is The Correct Wet Bolt Replacement For The Equa-Flex Trailer Suspension?
The Wet Equalizer Bolt with Locknut and Grease Zerk # 126B2 and Bronze Bushing # D014-077-00 can be used to replace the wet bolts that are frozen on your 2020 Grand Design Momentum 351M. The wet bolts on the Momentum were most likely not serviced properly from the dealer/owner of the camper is my guess. If water got into the bushings and caused rust to develop this is what I feel may be causing you to not be able to install grease into the bolt. Typically the grease zerk will be the first...

  • What Axle Capacities Does Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC145546 Work On
The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC145546 that you referenced is a kit of two equalizers. These are rated for use on axles with capacities between 5,000 lbs and 8,000 lbs. So since your 15k trailer would most likely have a pair of 8k axles this kit would work great at smoothing out your ride quality as well as being properly weight rated.

The big difference between the Equa Flex equalizer # LC145546 and the Dexter EZ Flex part # K71-652-00 is the dimensions as they basically provide the same cushioning. The EZ Flex has a distance between the mounting holes of 5-5/8 inch and the Equa Flex has 7-1/4 inches for that dimension.

Hello Leonard. Since you are going with a slightly bigger equalizer, the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers - Double Eye Springs - Tandem Axle - 6K to 8K, part # LC145546, you will go with a smaller shackle strap. The MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers w Correct Track - 2-1/4" Shackle Straps, part # MR58ZR, is my recommendation. • Upgraded Equalizers for 2014 Palomino Puma 5th Wheel
Hello again David; the best option for an upgraded equalizer is the one that matches your current equalizer measurements. Keeping the same or similar measurements keeps your suspension geometry the same. Realistically, you aren't going to notice a real difference between the Road Armor or Equa-Flex or whatever else you might add. Also, they are not designed to lift the trailer.
