by:

very quick..needed for camping trailer.....see ya ..gone camping....

by:

fast shipping, easy tranaction. We will buy from you again

by:

Similar to the original except the original is solid and this is not. I expect it is just as effective as the original item which had been manufactured nearly 9 years ago.

by:

Very quality product for the price!!! These double lip seals are 75% cheaper than the local parts store. Highly recommend these.

by:

I used the hubs and seals on a mobile home axle they fit perfect, the seals that came with hubs were not the size needed but RG06-090 is the correct size

by:

I bought some brake controllers in the past but did not know the stocked hard to find axle seals also. Lightning Fast delivery..... Got my trailer back on the road super fast.... They are easy swaps from the original Dexter axle 10-10-B seals Thanks etrailer you on top of it!!!

by:

I’m only giving a 4 as they apparently are the wrong size. Lippert makes to many styles of axels for same
Weight rating. I couldn’t fit the drum on went to auto store and bought 2.250 which fit.

by:

I have bought items from e-trailers for many years Never had a problem. Very reasonable prices and fast shipping.

by:

I grease m a les every season. These fit perfectly.

by:

Project arrived at a timely fashion. As always, it was exactly what was in the description. And as always, they are quality seals that install, and work just like the OEM parts.

by:

Fast delivery

by:

Excellent service, and excellent product quality, and very excellent price
picture of new brake assembly from etrailer

by:

Received parts very quickly. Quality products. Very pleased. Had to replace pads due to easy lub system failure. Grease pumped in past seals and saturated pads was on and in everything. More cost effective to replace whole assembly. Assembly fit perfectly replacing lippert factory parts.

by:

Fast shipping

by:

All good with the seals

by:

Seals arrived 3 days of original estimated delivery, this was much appreciated since my boat is unusable while the trailer is being repaired. These seals are special and etrailer had them in stock. They fit my Dexter axles on my Pacific trailer which have a slightly smaller hub seal diameter than most of the other trailers. They are also designed to handle both grease and oil bath systems, I'm converting to oil bath.

Seals are still working fine in my oil bath system. I did a 2500 mile round trip a few months ago, no leaks.

by:

Wow that was fast delivery thank you

by:

I was having a terrible time locating seals for my trailer so I went back to my Canadian supplier (Hitchweb) and without hesitation they gave me the contact info for etrailer. The parts person was knowledgeable and committed to find seals for my trailer. Shipping was very quick and the seals are a perfect match, thank you. I will definitely use etrailer again. Randy

I use these on a 14’ dump trailer that is used weekly in all kinds of Canadian weather and am pleased to say these seals have held up very well with no leaks and we check them regularly as a safety plan.

by:

My parts were delivered promptly and excellent quality.

by:

This is my third order from e-trailer and like the others I have been well pleased. I was having trouble finding these grease seals for my travel trailer but e-trailer had them in stock and at a reasonable price. I installed them and they fit perfectly. I would highly recommend this company.

The grease seals are still doing what they are supposed to do. That is keep the grease where it is supposed to be. Not on the braking parts.Phil B.

  • Parts to Convert 5-Spoke Utility Hub to Modern Style Hub on 10K Trailer
Thank you for reaching out! It looks like your Dexter Axle uses the 5 Spoke Utility Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-174-5UC3 so to replace that and your brakes you need the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K as well as the 12" Self-Adjusting Electric Brakes # TRU96FR. These will be exact fits for your system but the hub and drum kit comes with a slightly larger grease seal so you need the Replacement Grease Seal Set # RG06-090 for each axle on your trailer. • Replacement Hub and Drum Assembly For Older Drum Marked HD-1206
The HD-1206 number you found on your drum cross references to the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb Axles - 6 on 5-1/2 # 8-201-5 which is a 12" x 2" drum with the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern you mentioned but has wheel studs instead of holes for wheel bolts. The # 8-201-5 requires inner bearing # 25580, outer bearing # LM67048, grease seal # RG06-090, and grease cap # RG04-080 as these are not included. I included a video of the # 8-201-5 for you to take a look at.

  • Replacement Hubs for 2017 Grand Design Momentum 350M
Hey Michael, welcome back! The Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 7K Axles # AKHD-865-7-1-EZ-K you were looking at will fit your axle. However, there are two things you need to check which are the wheel studs and the grease seal. This has 9/16" wheel studs and a grease seal with an inner diameter (ID) of 2.25". If you find you have 1/2" wheels studs you need the # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K instead. If your grease seals have an ID of 2.125" you will need to swap them out for # RG06-090....

  • Determining Correct Replacement Oil Bath Hub For 2003 Mastercraft Single Axle Trailer
Assuming you are meaning replacing the entire hub, you will first need to remove the oil bath cap to access the spindle nut. There will be a cotter key holding the nut on, or a clip which will need to be removed next. After that remove the nut and slide off the hub. If you have not already found the correct replacement hub then while the hub is off look for the bearing numbers stamped in the face of both the inner and outer bearings as shown in the included picture of the # L44649. Hey Kurt! What kind of brakes do you have now? What is your axle capacity? I'm assuming you have electric right now, so a full kit like the Hydrastar Disc Brake Kit w/ Actuator for Tandem Axle Trailers - 13" Hub/Rotor - 8 on 6-1/2 - 7K # HSE7K-T1 is going to be the best option. However, you want to confirm your axle capacity so you're getting brakes with the appropriate rating.

  • What is the Difference Between the 10-10 Grease Seals and the 10-36 Grease Seals
The difference between the 10-10 grease seals, # RG06-090, and the 10-36 grease seals, # RG06-070, is their inner diameter. The 10-10 grease seals fit older spindles with a seal journal (see photo) diameter of 2.125 inches. The 10-36 grease seals fit newer spindles with a seal journal of 2.250 inches. On 5,200 lb, 6,000 lb and 7,000 lb axles, manufacturers are no longer making spindles with a 2.125 inch seal journal, so they needed to come up with a seal that could fit the slightly larger...

  • Identifying Hub and Bearings for 2001 Prestige Trailer
Hi Jeff; I'm assuming you were able to identify the parts based on the axle tag or by pulling off the hubs and measuring. Did you verify that the grease seal had a 2.25" inner diameter? The # AKIHUB-655-6-EZ-K comes with a 2.25" ID grease seal, and that matches the # GS-2250DL you ordered as well. However, the same axle capacity can also use a 10-10 grease seal # RG06-090 with a 2.125" ID so I recommend double checking if you haven't just to be sure. Any big trips coming up with your boat?

Hey Bill, thanks for reaching out! Your 2022 Grand Design Momentum 21G axle models the 5,200 lb axles from Dexter so you'll either need the kit # RG06-090 with a 2.125" ID or the kit # RG06-070 with a 2.250" ID. I tried reaching out to Dexter Axle for an exact seal for your axle but they have yet to respond to me.

  • Is There an Equa-Flex Equalizer Kit that Fits 2015 Eclipse Attitude 32SAG
The best way to determine if the Equa Flex kit part # LC279688 you referenced is going to fit is to compare it's dimensions to the dimensions of the equalizers you currently have. If they are the same or very close then they will work. I attached a picture of the dimensions of this for you to check out as well. If you have dimensions that are different let me know what you have and I'll see what the best option is.

  • How Tight Should Shackle Bolts/Nuts be on Trailer Suspension
Hey Robert, so shackle nuts don't need to be super tight as they are designed to allow the suspension to move. So the trick is to use lock nuts with nylock (you have them currently) and then tighten them down to about hand tight with a proper sized wrench/ratchet and then back it off 1/4 turn so that it can move like it needs to.

  • Replacement Seal For a Timkin 413470 and National 440972
Hey, Bruce. Thanks for your question. That 413470 number you have actually comes back as a Timken seal. It also crosses over to National seal # 440972, so you’re definitely on the right track. We have that same Timken seal available as part # TMK38ZR, so it would be a perfect match for what you already have. We also offer the TruRyde Grease Seal # RG06-090, which has the same inner and outer diameters, so it will fit the same as the Timken seal. What kind of trailer are you running this on?

Thanks for your question, Al. I checked the seals that we have and I don't see anything in the size that you are looking for. I checked out some Dexter 3500k hubs, like part # 84546UC3 and the inner diameter is 1.719" and an outer diameter is 2.565". The seal for that would be part # 58846. If you have a Dexter hub, there is usually a number on the hub that we can cross reference. You can also reply to the email with pictures of the hub to make it easier.
