Identifying Hub and Bearings for 2001 Prestige Trailer

Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 08/17/2025

Question:

Do you happen to know the part number for either the wheel bearings for a 2001 Prestige trailer or the hub part number?

Hi Jeff; I'm assuming you were able to identify the parts based on the axle tag or by pulling off the hubs and measuring. Did you verify that the grease seal had a 2.25" inner diameter? The # AKIHUB-655-6-EZ-K comes with a 2.25" ID grease seal, and that matches the # GS-2250DL you ordered as well. However, the same axle capacity can also use a 10-10 grease seal # RG06-090 with a 2.125" ID so I recommend double checking if you haven't just to be sure.

Any big trips coming up with your boat?

I checked and you are correct. I should have ordered the seal with a 2.125" ID. Thank you for pointing that out.

@JeffH you're welcome. The good news is the seals are relatively cheap and you can swap them out since they fit the same hub.

@RobinH I noticed when replacing the bearings on the other side of the trailer the outer bearing part number was LM67048. I should have everything I need now. Thank you again for the help.

@Jeff stick with the # 15123 that came with the hub or the # TMK34FR you ordered if you're swapping the included bearings with Timken. The inside diameter of both bearings is the same at 1.25" but the # LM67048 will have a different outer diameter so it won't fit the hub properly. Basically, both will fit the spindle, and in that aspect can be used interchangeably. However, both will not fit the same hub.
