How Tight Should Shackle Bolts/Nuts be on Trailer Suspension

Question:
have 23 grand designs reflection 337 rls with Morryde suspension CRE 3000, and one of the shackles nuts is loose. What is the torque spec on the wet bolts? can the nut be reused been told they are one-time use?

Hey Robert, so shackle nuts don't need to be super tight as they are designed to allow the suspension to move. So the trick is to use lock nuts with nylock (you have them currently) and then tighten them down to about hand tight with a proper sized wrench/ratchet and then back it off 1/4 turn so that it can move like it needs to.
