Leaf springs, as you probably know, make up an important part of your trailer's suspension. Their main purpose is to absorb road shock as you travel, as well as allow your axle(s) to move independently of the rest of the trailer.
To mount this leaf spring, you'll need hangers welded onto your trailer frame - which you probably already have in place - as well as shackle straps and a suspension bolt. It's a good idea to replace your existing straps and bolt while you're under there working on things because they tend to wear out quickly. One thing that could help keep them from wearing out too fast would be upgrading to galvanized or zinc-plated hardware. Doing so will boost the corrosion resistance and, therefore, the longevity of your trailer.
We also always recommend replacing both of your springs at the same time because it's not unusual for leaf springs to sag and elongate over time. If you replace just the one, there's a good chance that it won't match your existing spring on the opposite side of your trailer, and that can mess up your alignment.

The only issue was that I ordered 3” shackle bolts (my fault) but really needed 3 1/2” so I returned them to etrailer. The return process was very easy, they sent me a RMA # and the shipping label my email, and I just dropped it off at the UPS store. Great doing business with etrailer!!!!!
Product was great, and the service was excellent. I initially ordered the wrong length (my fault, not etrailer) and the team worked with me both via email and on the phone to get the right part. They also recommended the right hardware kit for the tandem axles.

Etrailer did good, UPS damaged box but leaf springs are not damaged
Perfect fit and replacement for stock springs. Paired these with the CRE-3000 and heavy duty shackles.
Great replacement leaf springs for my travel trailer.
Delivered in torn up box, luckily there was no damage.
Big difference. Good price & quick delivery. I added some before and after pictures of the leaf springs under our travel trailer.
The new leaf springs came in quickly, were easy to install and are keeping their shape the way that they should. The RV manufacturer put cheap springs on the trailer and in only 2 years they were flat and unsafe, which is something being reported by a great number of people who have trailers from the same company, and they are breaking causing damage to the trailer and could potently get someone hurt or killed. I am thankful for the people at etrailer.com, because they helped me find the correct springs and got them to me quickly so I could replace them before leaving on a one-month trip.

They perform very well!
Appear to be excellent quality. Much better than the 20 year old springs they replaced. Had to do a lot of measuring as this was a custom made trailer from a local welder but everything from etrailer has fit well. Definitely sits a bit higher with new springs but that’s fine with me.
We bought one of these about a year and half ago. No issues so far so we bought another two, one to install, another as a backup in case the last factory leaf spring breaks.
Our factory leaf springs were rated at 1750 lbs, these are rated at 2000 lbs. Apparently the 1750 lbs are no longer available, but we.found these 2000 lbs. to work fine for our application. Glad glad we bought them.
my 1st order was wrong. but the tec support is great at etrailer
I ordered the wrong leaf springs on the recommendation of a local RV tech. When I realized about an hour later and found the right ones, I called to change the order, but was told it was “too far into the process” to cancel the original order. The order hadn’t been totally finalized and hadn’t actually been shipped yet, but all they offered was to send a return label if I wanted to pay for return shipping, which I did. I opted to order the replacement springs through a different company due to etrailer’s customer service response.
Excellent product from an excellent company. Easy to deal with and fast shipping!

I’m super happy I found this site. It’s very clear on exactly what you need. The staff is great and the products all are listed clearly. I will be using Etrailer to repair my camper from here on out.
Bought 6 for tri axle trailer etrailer put all in one box that weighed 70lbs. Of course UPS is gonna throw it around. Well 2 are MIA only 4 made it

These springs offer just enough load capacity to help with the weak springs found on many trailers equipped with 3500LB axles. They also offer an increased ride height of about 1-1 1/2 inches.
Leaf springs looks good haven’t install them because I bought a pair to have on hand just in case .
This is the second set of springs purchased to replace the stock 3500 LB. springs on two different trailers. These springs are what is needed to provide a better ride, and to eliminate the occasional "Bottoming out" of the axle to the frame without comprimising the weight limit of the axle.
These leaf springs did the job! My trailer is in great shape now. Thanks!!!
