This fixed over-bed rack is built to handle serious work. It carries up to 800 lbs, giving you the strength to haul ladders, lumber, or pipe day after day. The crossbars measure 66-5/8" long x 3-1/4" wide x 1-1/2" tall, and the uprights stand 29" tall with a 12-5/8" base width. The over-cab height keeps long materials clear of the cab while leaving the bed open for other gear. You can load heavy construction materials during the week and still use it for kayaks or camping gear on the weekend without worrying about flex or fatigue.
The built-in sliding load stops make it simple to keep gear in place. Just loosen the hand knobs, move them where you need, and tighten them back down. The stops can be adjusted up to 35"-36" apart, giving you control over how your load sits on the bars. They also work as tie-down points for straps when carrying smooth or round items like pipe or walk planks. When you need to haul wider loads, you can add extra stops with the Replacement Load Stop Assembly # EM57705.
The rack is made from lightweight aluminum that won’t rust or eat into your truck’s payload. The yellow-chromate-plated hardware adds another layer of corrosion resistance, so you can leave it on through rough weather without worrying about rust stains or frozen bolts. The aerodynamic crossbars help cut down on wind noise and drag, so it stays quiet on the road and looks clean even after years of use.
You don’t need to drill into your bed rails to mount this rack. The patented clamps attach securely to the lips of the bed rails, and each upright base uses two clamps for a tight fit. Once the bases are in place, slide the bolts into the crossbar channels, center them, and tighten the hand knobs. It fits most pickup beds and can be removed or repositioned whenever you need full bed access.
At full height, the top of the load stops sits about 35" above the bed rails, giving you all the clearance you need for long materials or boats. Just received the Truck Bed ladder rack yesterday and began to install it on my 2013 Nissan Frontier this morning. The package arrived in great shape. The rack looks great so far, it's well built and should handle everything I'll need it for; lumber and ladders. It's super easy to install. The only negative I have is I wish the triangular stops were easy to remove when not in use and easy to reinstall when needed. I may come up with something. Other than that, I am very happy with this purchase.
Product looks good. Buying it was quite frustrating as Etrailer kept rejecting my husband's credit card regarding the billing address. He contacted his credit card company and was told that there were no issues on their side. After three failed attempts to buy the rack, my husband gave up. I bought it using my credit card. My husband only uses one card and never has problems with it. Phones calls to and emails to Etrailer could not get the problem resolved.
They look decent enough and do exactly what I need. Super easy install. I think I'll be able to remove the rear one(4 nuts with a zip gun) slide my KLR 650 in the bed put the rear one back on load the canoe and scoot down the highway in my 2011 Ranger. Super happy with these at this price point.

Love it. Ive kept a canoe and sometimes add a kayak. I even had a couch in the bed and one on the rack. So my only concern is rack thieves. These just bolt down and can be removed under 3 three minutes with a impact gun. If I head to the city they come off. The quick break down is nice if I need to take the truck to the car wash.
I am giving the racks a five, although have to say I have not carried anything of substance on them yet. I got primarily to carry two kayaks at same time. But I am happy with how they installed, and how they look and the general apparent integrity of the product. I had a bit of a delay for delivery due to factory, which necessitated the customer service team of eTrailer to hold back the shipment until I was back at my residence. They did an excellent job with this special request, and communication was always prompt and to the point. These racks also sold for about half of the price of what I suspect is their major competition; so that was a major decision point for me. I do not at this time feel I sold myself short by not going with the more expensive brand.
Bought this in conjunction with some kayak racks to carry 2 kayaks while pulling our TT in Nissan Frontier crew cab with short bed. Works great, does its job, not too hard to uninstall. Only warning to future users, if you have a utility track in the bed you may have to use a mallet to pound the J hooks to wiggle around the track when removing the rack.
This is a great rack for kayaks.We could not haul our kayaks while we were pulling our camper.They would not fit in the truck box or in the camper.We ordered the rack and received it when they said it would be here.I installed it.The hardware was heavy,no cheap stuff. I bolted it on and it was rock solid.I put the kayaks on for our upcoming camping trip and they were also rock solid and out of the way.When kayaking is done I took it off and hung it in the shed.When I put it on this spring it bolted on beautifully and we are going again.A co-worker gave my wife your web address and i am very thankful they did.Great product!
Excellent product, I carry a 20' and 32' ladder on it every day. Super easy to load and unload ladders and other gear I have to carry daily! Very easy to mount and adjust! The end caps don't last long but I use the ends to attach ratchet straps.
This rack was installed on my 1998 Toyota Tacoma X-cab one year ago. It is a rock solid rack. I've carried some heavy and long timbers on this with no worry. I'm sure it will last as long as the truck!
Thus ladder rack has been a very useful addon for my Nissan Frontier. I recently re-installed on a 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro and it went smoothly. My only criticism is that the hand knobs for the adjustable load stops are too small for the task.
I used the ladder rack as part of my roof top tent trailer build. The rack is awesome. I was able to install it so the top is further apart than the bottom so the tent would attach properly. Very well made. And as usual the customer service was excellent. Thanks Hally C.
The rack was a good price. It was delivered 4 or 5 days after it was ordered. All the parts were there and no damage. It was VERY easy to assemble and put on my truck. It seems to be very solid and pretty well made. Seems to be a great value. I purchased to transport kayaks and lumber that does not fit into the short bed.Time will tell , but so far so good.

The racks are still great after one year. They were a good buy. Price was reasonable and they are sturdy and well made. They are simple to install and remove.
This is a great product. Simple to install and remove. Although it does not work with tonneau covers which I wish it does, I do like the design. The cost of this product is much cheaper that other manufacturers. It is built solid and its aluminum construction makes it light. I used this for hauling my 14' canoe for our camping trips.
The overall product quality was great.But the slider brackets had the wrong size hole and when I called they informed me that a few went out with that mistake.They didnt offer to send the brackets with the right holes or compensate me in anyway...not good business...my times worth something too...otherwise great deal thank you folks at etrailer.
Very rigid when installed on my 2020 Ram 1500. No whistling while driving. One missing knob which etrailer is replacing. Kayaks firmly strapped when you loop the straps under the cross bar between the two boats.
I believe this is just what the Dr. ordered. I’ll now have a way to get the kayaks, the camper, the grandson, and the wife all to the campsite and lake next week.
Installation was pretty easy even with load rails in the bed. Like I told the lady at another store when I was looking around for a solution “I need a rack, not a new truck. This was a very reasonably priced solution.
Installation and removal are extremely easy. The Ladder Rack is well made and much stronger than expected. I can carry my 15' canoe, or several pieces of lumber that are too long for my truck bed with ease.
Customer service, timeliness, and communication were all excellent! I will consider etrailer in the future!!
I gave 4 stars only because the product was scratched and should have been considered ‘used’, not new. I believe this was a factory issue, not etrailer! The product is usable even with the scratches and buff marks. And, it is exactly what I expected from the description. The one design item I did not care for is that the bolts stick up vs down; and, there was not an option for a cover to hide the sharp edge. Thanks!
Works great. Been using this for my kay aks.
Installation was very easy, took about an hour and a half. I was able to install it on top of my over the rail bedliner by drilling 1.5" holes for the clamps. Seems well built and very solid. Happy so far
The ladder rack install went easily into place. The J bolts for hold down interfered with the railing system a little and after I took a closer look, it seems like Nissan was in a hurry in fabrication. The rail system was installed at a slight angle away from horizontal. Other than that, good product and will easily hold my kayaks! Thanks!
I like the mounting system. I guess I didn't read enuff reviews. I thought that a Nissan titan with a utility bed worked with bolt on system but. You have to remove the rails to clamp down ladder rack.
so far so good , easy install. fast shipping. I make caps to go over exposed threads on the J clamps. I saw after they were delivered, the price was lower than I paid .I called and no problem for them to credit me the difference after the fact. Now that's customer service .
