If you off-road but space is at a premium, the Tallboy is a compact bottle jack that can still create some serious lift. The oversized base plate gives you a solid foundation on the trail. And it only takes up about one cubic foot when stored.
With a 6-ton rating, this jack is made for off-road rigs like Jeeps, Broncos, and lifted trucks. Its adjustable range from 8-1/2" to 37-3/4" means it'll slide under an axle when you've got a flat and still reach the frame when you need extra height. The included extensions attach to add extra clearance, so you don't have to carry around blocks and stack them to get the jack where it needs to be.
When you're off-roading, a breakdown can happen anywhere. But when the trail or shoulder isn't level, the oversized base plate helps the jack stay planted and secure. You can use the swappable saddles to lift from the axle or the frame, depending on what's safest. And if you want additional stability, a jack pad (like the Outrigger Pad or StakPad) can add another layer of support. The handle extension gives you reach when the space is tight, which helps when you're struggling to work the release.
Once the vehicle is raised, the Power Mountain Tallboy jack stand (sold separately) can take over the support job. It adjusts from 10-13/16" to 28-3/4" and supports up to 6 tons, letting you secure the raised load and free up your Tallboy jack for the next lifting position.
When the job's done, all the parts pack into the carry bag. It doesn't take up much room, plus you're not digging through a toolbox to find what you need. You can take it with you on every trip and know you're prepared for flats and other repairs.
Note: This jack is designed to lift and stabilize 6 tons and should not be used to lift over that weight.

I have not actually used this product as of this writing, however, it appears we'll built. It will have the lift height needed for my truck or 5th wheel trailer if needed. The attachments are a big plus to capture the jack to the axles. As with any hydraulic jack as long as the seals hold up it will be great. Carry bag is a nice piece to keep all the components of the jack together. Looks good, thanks etrailer.

A bit pricey but I wanted to be able to adjust the brakes on my camper ($175 at the dealer, plus waiting til they could get to it) or grease the wheel bearings regularly.
Its too heavy to carry it with me in an already loaded tow vehicle so it's mostly for home use
This jack works great for my 20 ram. Comes in nice storage bag. Been looking for a jack that was tall and stable enough work with on this truck with 4" lift that's sitting on 35's. The shipping was excellent also from etrailer, great company to deal with!!!
I'm only giving a 4-star review, because I haven't had the opportunity to use the jack yet, but just unpacking it, it seems to be very solid and well built. I bought it to keep in a recently acquired Jeep Gladiator with a 3" lift and 37" tires, so the factory scissor jack wouldn't do the trick. I played around with the jack after unpacking it, and it definitely looks like it will work great.

Very versatile. A must have if you tow anything. Much easier to get than the vehicle jack. Saw this on Big Truck Big RV YouTube channel. Well worth the money.
I would have given this jack a five star rating except for the fact that the jack handle does not fit the black valve screw very well as the tip of the handle fits to loose which causes you to constantly have to readjust the handle as you’re loosening or tightening the valve screw.
I was worried when the box came pretty beaten up. I soon found out everything was fine inside.I read the instructions and started putting it together.the quality of the jack is top notch as with the other products that I purchased with etrailer.I haven't used it yet but I know that when I do need it I will be extremly happy to have gotten it.

I had a chance to become familiar with it this afternoon, and actually use it under my F250. My truck’s tires are bigger and the chassis sits higher than normal. Because of my airbags I had to research the places where the Tallboy will work best in the event of getting a flat tire. It is so easy to set it up that I’ll give it a 5-Star rating.

Very well built and performed as expected (maybe even better than expected). When build quality of any product lately seems to be slipping, the Power Mt. Tall Boy is of such good quality that I noted it right out of the box. A very solid tool that had no problem safely lifting our RV trailer. The axle fitting gave it a solid contact. Very happy with this purchase.
** what I wish I could find out for sure before ordering. 6t with adapter and u shape extension minimum height is 12”. It’s perfect for me but others make sure it will fit under an axle with enough room for a flat tire. All the video reviews and not a single person would cover the minimum height in that configuration. That’s just as crucial as the rating.
This is my second one! Really great jack. Not too heavy and easy to jack up.
I have one for both vehicles (Jeep Wrangler and Ram 1500) because it's so much better than the scissor jack and takes up almost the same amount of room!
I've been looking for exactly this style jack, with broad base, extensions, and and adapters to fit different axles, etc for a few years. Everything comes pre-packaged with foam padding inside the carry bag, a nice feature. Delivery and service by e-trailer, including any needed customer service, is always excellent, I've purchased from them many times. They always have what's needed and help making sure items will fit.

The Tall Boy Jack is awesome in that it has a very stable base and can easily reach the areas on the axle of my RV in order to change tires or service the brakes and wheel bearings. I recommend this to any RV owner!
Very sturdy and versatile. Nice that it comes in a carry case with storage for all parts. Floor jack’s just don’t quite work on some trailers and this Jack does. I had a pan operational question which was promptly answered by the etrailer folks. Overall a satisfying buy.
I used this immediately on my 20k pound fifth wheel. An unfortunate incident drug one rim across a very tall curb. Had to remove that wheel for repairs. The tall boy made it simple. Left it under rig for two nights with a jackstand under the assembly. It never moved! I pulled the jackstand out without touching the tall boy jack. Packaged everything back up nicely in the bag and now ready for any on the side of the road emergency.
I love this bottle jack and would buy again. I used it to raise up my 7000# RV to repack bearings and used it recently to rotate tires on a F350. The bottle jack can be configured to make a variety of lifts. I store it my RV for working on tires and bearings.
The jack works as advertised, thank you. I am disappointed however, in that the instructions are incomplete. Only the picture on the package showed how to properly assemble the parts and then only at its greatest height. The rest was trial and error. Of the three holes available, the lynch pin fit only two of them and no instruction on how to use it. The part number is missing for the jack screw. The "heavy duty" bag arrived with a tear in the bottom and that is with the contents padded with foam. It will require me to get a heavy canvas bag and discard the supplied one. Otherwise the jack works fine. John
After getting 2 flat tires in Death Valley National Park, and having to scavenge flat rocks to jack up the truck with my stock GMC bottle jack, this unit is literally a life saver. Unpackaged and tested at home, when I get another flat I believe that this will really do the job. It will also make jacking up my 5th wheel trailer much easier.
Package showed up with minimal damage on the outside. When I opened it, it was obvious that something had happened to the original packaging, prior to shipping, that had damaged the storage bag for the jack. I reached out to the manufacturer and without hesitation they sent a new bag to me.
Anyone who goes to the North Maine Woods knows how important it is to have a solid, versatile jack with you. This jack will serve its purpose in any scenario you find yourself in. Works great I needed a compact jack for offroad use and had to be high since my frame starts at 23”. The 6T goes plenty high enough and is very modular if I’m in a tough spot

Glad we had something that ticked all the boxes for you, Scott! What vehicle is that in your picture? I thought it was a Wrangler at first, but now I'm questioning that.
The extra attachments and built in base are great to work on my dual axle boat trailer. Easily jacked up the trailer with 5000 lb boat without needing to use an additional base. Used 6T jack stands and was able to complete maintenance on all wheels with confidence. The carry bag is perfect to keep everything together. I will be keeping this in my truck with two jack stands everytime I trailer the boat from now on.
Very handy. I’ve used it several times to put the trailer up on jackstands. That allowed me to take all four wheels to the tire store and get new tires as well as to rebuild the brakes and to grease the bearings - very useful. Only addition, is to have a few three-quarter inch plywood pieces slightly bigger than the stand itself just so you can pick it up off the ground another inch or so if you need to. They fit in the provided bag along with everything else with no problem.

After a year of using this jack, I couldnt be happier. I have helped several people on the side of the road towing everything from small trailers to large fifth wheels. It hasnt disappointed with its versatile lifting height and attachment options. The folks I have helped just didnt plan for flat tires or getting to a jack. If you tow anything with any frequency, this jack is a must.
