I have a 2020 forest river model SHT24RQMX-CA in need of new leaf springs. I’m hoping that you can guide me to the proper leafs for me to purchase. Thanks

Hello Jon, thanks for reaching out. I can definitely point you in the right direction of new leaf springs for your camper. I do not have a way to look up your trailer to know exactly what spring you will need though. There are two big pieces of info I will need in order to recommend the correct spring. The first is the weight capacity of the axle. There should be a tag on the axle that shows the individual weight capacity.
The second piece of info is the length of the current springs. The best way to measure leaf springs is to jack up one side of the trailer so you can measure the spring when not under a load. Leaf springs are measured across from center-eye to center-eye.
For example the Double-Eye Leaf Spring # e22YR is made for a 4,000 lb axle and is 26" long from eye-to-eye.
