Replacement Leaf Spring for Wells Cargo T8520T2-D

Question:
During a trip with our WellsCargo FT8520T2-D a front spring broke. The only part available in the middle of nowhere was your e22YR. I installed one and save a second if another spring failed before we could make the 1000 miles home. It looks like e22YR is 26” and stock is 25 1/8. I would like to replace the remaining 3 springs with the e22YR as an upgrade. Can this work with a change in shackles if required?

Hey Rick, he leaf spring part # e22YR that you tried can replace all of the springs you have now without having to change anything so this would work great. As a leaf spring breaks in and eventually wears out it stretches as it gets flatter which is why a shorter new spring is what you end up needing when it's time for replacement.

The new spring e22YR is actually longer at 26” the broke spring was 25 1/8 . Is the 7/8 “ longer on the front and rear spring going to cause an issue.
