Question:
Hi, I’m looking for some leaf springs and mounting kit. Leaf springs from eye to eye are 26 inches and 1- 3/4. Currently have 3500 pound springs but would like to step up another size. I was looking and I think the 30inch slipper spring would work. Am I correct in that assumption? I also have square axles and most kits I saw only had round axle bolts

Hey Allen, good to hear from you!
You can swap to the 30" Slipper Spring # e89SR, but it will require you to get a whole new hanger kit installed on your trailer which means cutting the old ones off and having new ones welded on by a professional.
A much better option to beef up your suspension would be to install the 4K Double Eye Leaf Spring # e22YR because you'll continue to use the rest of your current components.

So I got the wheels off this morning. It does not look like I have shackle straps. I have bolts through the equalizer and hook ends on the springs. Is there a difference in the ride on adding leafs but keeping the same weight rating? Is there a spring kit that comes with the u-bolts for a Square tube axle? Looks like most are round tube
