Question:
I am looking to add the Morryde 3000 to my 2019 grand design 2600rb I just had an axle replaced due to a bent spindle. It has 4400 lb dexter axles the center to center is 35 inches. What all do I need?

Hey Louis, you’re definitely on the right track, and it makes a lot of sense to look at upgrading the suspension after dealing with a bent spindle.
With your 35 inch axle spacing, the correct CRE3000 setup is the MORryde Shock Absorbing Suspension Equalizers part # MR27ZR. That’s designed for tandem axle trailers with that spacing and will replace your current equalizers to give you better shock absorption and smoother tracking.
I would also strongly recommend pairing that with the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit part # MR46ZR. That gives you the heavy duty shackles and wet bolts, which are a big improvement over the factory hardware and really help the whole system work the way it should. Most Grand Design setups use 2-1/4 inch shackles like this, but it’s always a good idea to quickly confirm your current shackle length just to be sure everything lines up perfectly.
Since you already had an axle issue, it’s also worth taking a quick look at your leaf springs while you’re in there. If they’re starting to flatten out or show wear, replacing them at the same time will help you get the full benefit of the CRE3000 instead of building on worn components. If you want to take a quick measurement of your springs I can help with that.
When you’re measuring for replacement leaf springs, you actually want to measure them unloaded, so either with the spring removed or with the trailer lifted so the axle is hanging and there’s no weight on the spring. That gives you the true eye to eye length of the spring in its relaxed state, which is what manufacturers base their sizing on.
Once this is all in place, you should notice a much more controlled ride and less stress on the rest of your suspension.
Are you planning to install this yourself or have a shop handle it?

Louis , I did th exact same along with new leafs just before our trip to Montana . I couldn’t be happier with the difference it made . I was surprised how quick the stock bolts and shackles had started wearing . The wet bolt kit is definitely another great upgrade .

I replace the same parts. Very easy just take some time . Most of it moving Jacks and blocks around but it's simple and easy and then it's very very easy to Loop it every year and it will last much longer. As it got rid of all the slap and play from the under-sized OEM brackets and components
