Question:

Have a Morryde CR3000 and the XFactor crossmember. I just replaced springs and installed the Morryde heavy duty shackles. MORryde UO12-016 Looks as though the original crossmember wet bolt connecting the CR3000 to the hanger is 1/2 x 3 3/8. Can I replace this bolt with theMR52HR? The shackle bolts in the Morryde upgrade kit seem to all be 9/16 x 3 Which work perfect! But the equalizer bolt that comes with the crossmember seems small. Failure point maybe.

The MORryde Replacement Wet Shoulder Bolt - 9/16" x 3-3/8" - Qty 1 # MR52HR will definitely work for you, but are you measuring just the threaded portion or the actual shank of the bolt?

I ask as the threaded portion of the # MR52HR bolt will measure 1/2", though the rest of the bolt shank is 9/16" (see included image). This is fairly common with these bolts and the top hole on the MORryde CRE3000 Equalizers # MR27ZR is 9/16". I think a 1/2" bolt would have caused issues by now. That said, if they are 1/2" all the way to the head of the bold, definitely replace them with the # MR52HR. I would probably make sure the bushings aren't looking a little worse for wear as well. If they are, grab the Dexter Bronze Bushings - Qty 4 # K71-291-00. You will have a couple extras, but that's never a bad thing.

Out of curiosity, what kind of roads are you traveling? Is it all on road or are you doing off road stuff?
