I had greaseable caps that allowed water to seep in a ruin the bearings.
These caps look good and make a watertight seal. This is not a boat trailer and does not get exposed to a lot of rain or snow.

by:

Excellent parts service and customer service. These folks are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Received the parts and discovered one of the parts was damaged in shipping. Contacted them and Neil was on it immediately. The part is on the way. I will always buy from this company.

High quality product(s) delivered sooner than promised. The merchandise arrived in good condition. They are a perfect fit for my Dexter 3500# axles. I have ordered many items for my RVs, my SUV and pickup over the past 14-years. I have never been disappointed with eTrailer's offerings and customer service. Thank you eTrailer

I am rebuilding an old trailer and was lucky enough to get Justin on the phone. Hel listened to my needs and searched until he found the hanger bolts and bushing the fit my equalizer perfectly. He is a real pro! The trailer is coming along great thanks to your great staff

Basic cap for the trailer bearing, fit tight as expected

I ordered 3 Taskmaster 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Mod Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C (Item # TTWAS12B4WMHP) on a Saturday. To my surprise they shipped them right away. The packaging was perfect and the wheels look strong and well made. This little kit trailer (cargo box is 60"x40"x24") has once been in a 3000 mile trip around the West, and the 8" wheels where almost 20 years old so I decided to get fresh tires and ordered the 12" wheels. I'll probably have to give the fenders a little more clearance but that's OK. I'm very happy with the product and service. Thank you guys!

by:

Arrived as advertised, prompt, good fit, wearing well. Would definitely buy again.

by:

It all started about 10 years ago when I purchased a custom built trailer. The trailer is great, but one of the stub axle/wheel kits they put on was missing a race. By the time I got the trailer home -- about 7 miles -- the dust cap was missing. Later I pulled off the wheel and noticed the race was gone and I replaced it and the bearing. I purchased several dust caps locally, all of which were supposed to fit. None of the ones off my old vehicles would work. After losing several more caps, I ordered these. Thinking I would lose them fairly quick, I ordered extras. When the box arrived, I examined the caps and was pleased with the quality. I took the beer can off the wheel and carefully hammered a new cap on. Well, now after pulling the trailer a lot, on many bumpy and bad roads, this cap has not loosened a bit. I highly recommend these caps.

These caps are still on my trailer after many more miles of bumpy roads and pulling through pastures with high weeds and brush. Still very pleased.

Couldn't be happier !!

I went to
{online store] and took old one in with me, they had to order it in and $XX.00 freight to boot. It showed up wrong and they wouldn't credit the freight back.

I went online and order here and no problems and received sooner than expected.

Top customer service and yes, now marked in my favorites for future use.

Its been a year and that grease cap is still going strong. I havent had a single problem and have painted it to match my STEELERS GOLD rims. Thanks for such a great product and service.

by:

Item arrived quickly. The cap was a little loose, but I was able to take a hitch pin and flare the edge of the cap slightly. After that it fit perfectly. Thanks etrailer!

by:

I Installed two sets on my 14 foot Trailer. In the mountains of NC, brakes dont seem to last on the truck. I use the truck and trailer for pick up and delivery of Ventracs, that weigh in at around 1500LBS. The trailer empty will actually stop the truck now. (I use the Redarc trailer brake controller).
Not having to constantly adjust them is a major plus also. I did wire both axles indepentanly of each other to the junction box. If I happen to have a wire get torn loose, I will only lose braking on one axle and not both.
They were a little expensive, but will save me from replacing the brakes on my truck twice a year.
Over all, I am glad I got the two sets.

by:

I measured the hub and order the grease cap. It was installed using a piece of PVC pipe and a dead blow hammer and it sealed tight and looks great.

Great but had to alter them to fit.

by:

They fit my hubs and keep the grease in for a good price. Not much else to say. I did go to the hardware store and get a pipe fitting to drive them in so I didn't dent them during installation.

by: 09/29/2022

Trailer gets very little use, caps work as they should.

by:

Thank you so much for replacing the damaged components in such a timely manner! The grease caps have been installed and the boat is in the water. I have been using etrailer for quite a while and have never been disappointed. This is my "go to" vendor for all of my trailer/towing issues.

by:

The bearings and race i have ordered are the perfect fir for our trailer. They are the identical match for the 1969 dilly, verry pleased with the price overall great kit. I would defiantly recommend to anyone replacing bearings and races for the 1969 dilly.

by:

The grease caps were available on etrailer.com. The ordering was simple and easy. They arrived earlier than expected and exactly as we wanted. They work on our trailer. We would order from etrailer.com again.

by:

Got two sets of bearings and new dust caps for our trailer works just fine and at this price couldn't go wrong, arrived quickly fit as expected what more can be said there bearings

by:

Grease cup as advertised. All parts arrived in good condition except one. One break plate was missing the strain relief on the back. All break plates had nicks on the two green wires where they exit out the back as if the wires were nicked during installation and bent 90*. Thank you for the links to installation of the items for they have been helpful.

by:

This is a fine grease cap. It slightly too large to fit my Quality Trailer Products Accu-Lube 3500# hubs, however, that is not the fault of e-trailer.

  • How To Verify The Correct Size Hub Grease Caps For A Trailer Axle on Boat Trailer
The best way to ensure that you get the correct size is to use a Digital Caliper # PTW80157 to measure the hub bore diameter on your 2007 Sea Doo Speedster trailer. The 1.98" hub bore is the most common size on the smaller axles found under boat trailers carrying the weight of your Sea Doo. The Grease Cap # F001518 is the basic cap for standard spindles in the 1.98" size. The Lubed Dust Cap & Rubber Plug # DC200L-DCRP fits your EZ lube spindles that have a grease zerk on the spindle...

  • Replacement Grease Cap for Gulf Stream Vintage Cruiser Travel Trailer
Finding a grease cap for your Gulf Stream Vintage Cruiser Travel Trailer will require measuring. You can either measure the outside diameter of one of your existing grease caps or the inside diameter of the hub bore where the grease cap installs. These needs to be a precise measurement so make sure to use a digital caliper like # PTW80157. For example, if the outer diameter measurement was 1.988" you could use the # F001518. In order to determine the correct grease cap for your axle, you will need to measure the inner diameter of the hub where the grease cap presses in. I don't have any reference material that would tell me what grease caps your tent camper used, but I can explain how you can determine the proper size. If you're speaking of a standard grease cap, we offer them in a zinc plated finish that's fairly shiny but couldn't be called chrome. To determine which one you'd need, you'll need to measure the inside diameter of the hub bore where the cap would install. this measurement would need to be very accurate, so a digital caliper should be used....
