2013 Yamaha Kodiak

After a lot of research with the help of etrailer support I purchased the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit K2HR712 and installed on a 2013 Dutchmen Rubicon 2900 with 7K lippert axles to replace the 13” Electric drum brakes. I discovered any questions about whether the disc hubs would fit my axle was eliminated when I realized I just had to verify the wheel bearing numbers for the disc hubs were the same as what was on my axles. (bearings, caps and seals do not come with the kit and need to be ordered separately).
My trailer had dual axles, the disc kits came in separate boxes that did fairly well in shipping, nothing poking out of the boxes or anything. Parts matched and fitted without any problems. Again, etrailer support was very helpful in getting the correct parts and any questions I had during the installation. I could have done this myself however I choose to have a brake tech do the hydraulic lines and bleed the system out. Very satisfied with the product and support.

It fit perfectly. As instructed, I measured the hole with a micrometer and compared that to the stated size. WHAM perfecto! And the fine finish borders on an art form. As with my other engineering endeavors, I measured with a micrometer, marked it with chalk then installed it with a mallet. This installation increased the value of my trailer exponentially. The sheer number of compliments I get blows my mind. Thank you etrailer for making my life worth living.

Recommended Disc Brake Conversion for 7,000 lb Dexter Axles
On your 2018 Montana 3791 RD, with Dexter 7K axles, we do have the parts but not in a kit for axles that large. I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 13" Hub/Rotor - 7,000 lbs # K2HR712D along with Bearing Kit # BK3-100. I recommend using grease # L11390 and cap # F001520 instead of doing the oil bath simply because if a seal fails you can melt your bearings and cause more issues than what grease would allow. Then for the electrical aspects, I recommend the HydraStar Electric-Hydraulic...

Recommended Disc Brake Kit for Airstream Tandem Axle Trailer
To convert to disc brakes, you will need to check the bearings on your current hubs. If you pull the hub you should find on the inner and outer bearing a number printed on each. Those numbers will help to confirm the fit on your spindle. If you can't find this number, then you can measure the spindle with a digital caliper like # PTW80157 where the bearings would rest on the spindle. I've attached a photo to assist. If you are only needing an idler hub we have the DeeMaxx # DE96VR which you will need to combine with the Bearings # 25580, # 15123, Grease Seal # GS-2125DL and either a standard Grease Cap # F001520 or EZ Lube Cap # DC250L-DCRP. For a hub/drum assembly we have either the EZ Lube Hub/Drum # AKHD-655-6-G-EZ-K or Standard Hub/Drum # AKHD-655-6-G-K. The diameter of the pilot hole - where the grease cap will be - of the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 6,000-lb Axles - 6 on 6 - Agricultural # 42660UC1 is 2.446 inches. The correct grease cap to use with this hub is Grease Cap # F001520. This hub does not come with bearings, races, grease seal or cap so you will also need Bearing Kit # BK3-300. Grease Cap for Dexter Axles With 2-3/8 Inch Outer Diameter
The closest thing we have to a 2-3/8" outer diameter is the Grease Cap - 2.446" Outer Diameter - 1-5/16" Tall - Drive In # F001520. I recommend using a digital caliper like the # PTW80157 when measuring to ensure accuracy. If you find that it is in fact 2.375" then we do not have a grease cap available in that size. I'm not sure what you have now, but this has a crown height of 1.03" so you can compare to see if it is a lower profile.

2.44 inch Diameter Dust Caps for Trailer Bearings on a Coromal Van
We carry the TruRyde Grease Cap, # F001520, that should work for you, but you will need to make sure that the depth of the cap will work with the existing hubs on your Coromal Van. The depth of this cap is 1.03 inches, so as long as the spindle on your van does not protrude more than 1 inch beyond the face of the hub this grease cap will work for you.

Recommended Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Set Up for 2016 Montana 3710FL 5th Wheel
I was able to confirm that your Montana 3710FL uses tandem 7000 lb axles. A 7K axle would typically have an 8 on 6-1/2 wheel bolt pattern and the spindles would be compatible with a 25580 inner and an 14125A outer bearing. You'll want to identify the inner and outer wheel bearings used by your current hub/drums. Let me know if your hubs uses a different outer bearing. If your drums use the 25580 inner and 14125A outer bearing, I'd recommend the Kodiak 13 Inch Hub/Rotor Kit, part # K2HR712E....

We do have a disc brake kit with 9/16-inch studs you asked about. I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit, part # K2HR79E. This kit has 13-inch hub/rotors and an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern and is designed for 7,000 lb axles. The brake flange has a 5-bolt configuration.
