Wind noise can ruin an otherwise great drive. These aero-style crossbars are shaped to help reduce drag and cut down on that constant humming you sometimes get with round or square bars. The integrated rubber strips also press down around your mounts to seal the top channel, helping to quiet vibration and smooth out airflow.
You don’t have to choose between your favorite gear setups. The JetStream crossbars work with accessories that mount in the top channels as well as those that clamp around the bar. Installing accessories into crossbar channels usually means cutting rubber strips to make them fit. With this rack, you just press your mounts straight into the top track—the push-down strips flex out of the way and close back up when you’re done. It’s a small detail that makes setup quicker and keeps your channels sealed against wind and weather.
Your gear is valuable, and so is your time on the road. The BaseLine towers accept Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately), so you can secure the entire rack setup when parked at a trailhead or hotel lot. It’s an easy way to add peace of mind to every stop along the way.
