2024 Sienna, with raised bars. Can I use 60 inches bars or I should stick to 53s? thanks!

Thanks for letting us help Marc. The ideal crossbar length really depends on what you're planning to carry and how much bar overhang you're comfortable with. From what I was able to find, the distance between the factory raised side rails on your 2024 Toyota Sienna is approximately 40 inches. If you go with a system that uses 50-inch crossbars, such as the
# Y72GD you were looking at, you'd have roughly 5 inches of overhang on each side.
There's also no issue with using a longer 60-inch crossbar, such as # Y00426, if you need the additional usable bar space. However, if you don't need the extra width, I think a system with crossbars in the 50- to 53-inch range will provide a cleaner, more vehicle-specific appearance.

Thank you for the replay, I would like to carry 2 kayaks and 2 road bikes. I’m afraid of hitting my head on the end of the bar when I get in and out of my Sienna. Regards!
