Take full advantage of your vehicle's hitch receiver - tow a vehicle or trailer and carry up to two bikes by installing this Swagman bike carrier onto your 2" square ball mount. The bike rack shank includes a bracket that simply slides over your ball mount and tightens with screws, adding in just seconds the ability to haul 2 bikes.

This rack comes with wheel hoops that provide a stable base for mounting your bikes. The hoops adjust with a hand knob and slide along the arms of your rack to accommodate bikes with wheelbases up to 52" and tires up to 3-1/2" wide.

The upright arm includes a pair of push-button hooks that hold your bikes securely in place to prevent bike-to-bike and bike-to-vehicle contact during transport. The hooks feature soft padding to protect your bike frame, are offset so that you can carry two bikes of the same size simultaneously, and can be locked with a 1/4" padlock. Fold down the entire upright arm by pulling a pin at the base; this enables you to reach all the gear in your vehicle's rear cargo area obstacle free.

You can release the side arms of the rack by pulling pins at the base, then fold them up for convenient storage.

Video Transcript for Swagman Traveler XCS Bike Rack For Ball Mounts Review

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Swagman Traveler XCS - Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack for 2" Ball Mounts, part number S64664. Take full advantage of your vehicles hitch receiver, tow a trailer or a vehicle, and carry up to two bikes with the Swagman Traveler XCS.Here we have it set up with our trailer. We have an extended ball mount, and here we have it on our tow bar setup. As you can see, we have no problem carrying two bikes, while towing a vehicle. It's able to do this because it has a 2 inch by 2 inch opening for your ball mount or tow bar to slide through, and it holds in place with two set screws. The raised pipe form ensures that you won't have any interference with your trailer or towed vehicle. It's a 17-3/8 of an inch rise. We've gone ahead and removed the bikes so we can go over some additional features. The top half is just a standard bike rack with all the features that you'd expect from a platform-style. The cradles are adjustable along the platform to accommodate bikes of different size wheel bases.

It'll accommodate a wheel base of up to 52 inches long and a tire width of up to 3-1/2 inches wide. The padded frame hooks are adjustable to accommodate bikes of different sizes. The padding ensures that no harm will come to your bike. They simply ratchet down, to secure your bike. The frame hooks also feature a hole to pass a padlock through. This is going to prevent anyone from removing your bikes from the rack.

We recommend the lock, part number 131D.The center mast folds down to the left or right, to give you better clearance to access your vehicle. On your SUV, if you have a rear window that opens or on your RV if you have a spare tire compartment or ladder, this could give you better clearance or access. When not in use, the wheel cradles also fold up to the center; simply pull the pin, raise up the arm, and reinsert the pin into the aligned holes. This can help you get to the ladder on your RV, it's also great for storage when it's off your vehicle. If you're not using the bike rack, you don't have to worry about taking the whole thing off. You can simply loosen up the two set screws on bottom, remove the pin and clip, and the whole platform just slides right off.

This way you can travel lighter when not carrying bikes. One of our customers, Mark from Colorado, said, Just returned from a short trip, Aurora, Colorado, to Las Vegas, New Mexico. This bike rack was flawless. We traveled the interstate as well as some not so smooth roads and the bikes never budged. It worked well with the extended tow bar hitch, which will still allow us to pull a car. Some minor bike adjustments are needed such as pedal placement and handlebar placement.

But otherwise, easy to load and use.If you prefer a hanging style bike rack, or need to carry more bikes, check out the Swagman Original, part number S64675. This rack will also allow you to tow while carrying bikes. You can also check out a ball mount with a welded on receiver like the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount, part number D210. It will allow you to add a bike rack to your towing setup, but you have to purchase a bike rack separately, and it can't be used on your RV while towing a car.Now that we've gone over the features, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed.First thing you'll do is you'll take your ball mount, which is sold separately, and we're going to slide it through the opening of the base of our bike rack. The shank sleeve is 3 inches, you'll need at least that much clearance to fit it onto your ball mount or tow bar.Now what I like to do, is to make sure that I have the platform portion removed from the base. This can make it much easier to handle. Then we'll install our ball mount like we normally would, lining up our pin holes. We'll grab out pin and clip. If you don't have one of these you can pick up one of these sold separately, with part number PC3.Now we can position it anywhere along our ball mount or tow bar to where it's going to work best with our application. If we slide it all the way towards our trailer, we'll get more clearance from our vehicle end. We'll slide it all the way forward to our vehicle, we'll have more clearance at the trailer end. We're going to slide ours all the way forward. Then we can tighten up our two set screws on bottom, just get them both nice and secure, and then you're all set.Now we'll take our platform and slide it in place, and this time we'll just line up the pin holes. Once our pin and clip is in place, we can tighten up our set screws on bottom there. Now we can get ready for our bikes. We'll simply remove the pins and lower down the arms into the platform position, and we'll reinsert those pins. Now it's recommended that you load the heaviest bike first. We'll take our mountain bike, put it in the wheel cradles, make sure our frame hook is raised up, and then we can ratchet it down into position. Our second bike loads up the same way. Now we can connect it to our trailer.I've already got my trailer lined up with my ball, so I'll just be lowering it down. Then we'll of course want to make all the proper safety connections. Now we can take it out on our test course and see how it performs. Here on our test course, let's first go into our slalom. This is going to show side to side action, such as going around corners, or evasive maneuvering. Now onto some speed bumps. This is going to show us what it's like to hit some rough patches when we're on the road. And that's going to complete our look, the Swagman Traveler XCS - Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack for 2" Ball Mounts, part number S64664.

Recieved my swagman bike rack from etrailer in a timely fashion. Swagman packaging was damaged don't know if that is on you etrailer personnel or swagman. (See photo) The shipping packaging had no damage so can't be UPS. Don't know why you would want to ship a product with damaged packaging you're just asking for customer complaints. No pieces appeared missing. I have it assembled and ready to go ; but we received 6" of snow yesterday so won't be using it for a month. The product looks well built and sturdy enough will let you know later. The only other issue is with shopping for the product. Swagman tells me the towing bar is not included which is fine but I have a drop down hitch to put my ball at the correct height. I do not think it will have a long enough neck to accommodate the bike rack configuration where the tow bar slides through the bike rack and be secured to the truck. The straight one illustrated by swagman puts the ball 5" to high for my boat. Buyer beware I guess. The other issues are with Swagman's assembly instructions. The illustration shows the quick release pin to L shaped bar on the inside toward the vehicle. It should be way to the outside otherwise only one set screw of the two tightens up to the L bar. That could be a liability issue for Swagman if the bike rack falls off the L bar. I guess nowadays you can spend $3000 - $4000 on a bike. I don't think they would want that. Other Swagman issues like if it moves around strap it to the vehicle HOW . New vehicles are so aerodynamic where would you hook a strap. If Swagman wants to pass the buck fine but tell the consumer before they purchase their product. That way they can buy a Yakima or Thrule. At the very least provide a way to run a strap through the bike rack and illustrate how they can affix it to a vehicle. The important notes in the Swagman instruction sheet should be able to be read before purchasing the product. I bought this bike rack to use on my fifth wheel. Swagman says it won't work . GREAT ?? . A consumer should be able to READILY see that when shopping on etrailer. And to think I haven't even used it yet. As a consumer I'm thinking what else did I miss .... or was I just deliberately mislead??? You prefer me not to link this anywhere fine. Do me a favor and forward my comments and pics to Swagman. 492636

A longer ballmount with a 4 inch such as # 40345
Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 2-3/4" Rise - 4" Drop - Extra-Long - 6,000 lbs
$21.59
would bring you close enough to the 5 inch you mentioned. The bike rack can indeed be used on a 5th wheel, as long as the available ground clearance is greater than 15 inches, per the instructions that are linked on the product page. A stabilizing strap like # 18050
Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories - 61" x 1" - Qty 1
$8.95
is always a good idea, but Swagman cannot provide specific instructions on how to fasten that strap to the vehicle as there are too many possible vehicle/trailer combinations to make that feasible.

I haven’t lost a bike off the rack yet. Two additional notes to what I have previously written. The stainless steel pins that lock the rack in various positions should probably be a slightly higher grade of stainless steel as mine are already showing surface rust. The rubber coverings on the lock down hooks has rubbed the decals off my bike . Maybe if they were slightly thicker they would be less abrasive. I have tried covering them with some old socks but they blow off. Oh well. I do like how easy it is to get the bike off and on. I haven’t tried locking the bike hook clamps down . I’m not sure a standard paddle lock would fit in the holes.

Received the bike rack in a timely manner and had it assembled in quick order. The reason that we made this selection for the bike rack is because we have a basket that fits into our hitch and this rack holds the bikes high enough so that we can still fit a cooler and tote into the basket. We are looking forward to taking and extending road it on the road soon for an extended period. 292844

Product works, product holds bikes very securely BUT horizontals and vertical lock down bar lean to the left. Evidently the pivoting mount for these bars was welded crooked on it's mounting tube. Main vertical tube is straight vertically. Otherwise very solid and easy to use rack if you don't mind the lean. 130720

The bike rack has held up great. No noticeable wear and tear. Just as solid as the day we bought it.

Good rugged product. Finally a rack made for the demands of a class A motorhome. The long rear overhand on a motorhome puts stress on ordinary bike racks that could cause a problem.

Good bike rack. Fits was good and everything works as advertised. Haven't traveled with it yet but assured that it will work fine. Attached to Motorhome and in between my Toad. I use a drop down inset and it slid right over my Blue Ox tow bar insert. Plenty of clearance for toad and ladder rack which I can still stow chairs and a step ladder. Just what you need if you have a Motorhome and Tow a Toad. 173427

It still working fine but the quick release pins have rusted.

I purchased a new style bike that has a double bar on top instead of a single bar. So the clamp will hold very well. The wicket type platform hold`s wheels perfect. For myself this carrier works well on a motorhome and I still can tow a car dolly with a 4,000 pound car. Life gets no sweeter. Carrier is well made, eazy to assemble Would buy again 215317

Product seems to be well made and secures bikes very well. Disappointed that the security of the rack isn't up to par. Even though I have a lock that is the largest size you can fit through the hole in the hook mechanism you can still release it from the mast, therefore you cannot lock your bikes to the rack. One of the reasons I bought this product was that they advertise that you can lock up your bikes. 193587

Rack arrived in excellent condition. I did some minor modifications to meet my needs but it could be used right out of the box and do a great job. The only issue I had was one of the welds on one of mounting nuts broke while being tightened. I had it rewelded and installed longer bolts and added a jam nut on the 4 mounting locations. We just returned from 600 miles on the road and the rack did a fantastic job. It looks nice on the back of the 5th wheel. Loading and unloading the bikes is very easy due to the quick realease pins and moveable arms 426594

I am going to buy an ebike. An ebike needs a bike rack that the bike sits on it's wheels. I also wanted to take the bike with me to the campground when I pull my teardrop camper. This rack is ideal to use with a ball mount extention. Now I can mount the rack on the hitch and also pull my trailer. I am very happy with the rack. It's the best one I have owned and I have had many. 482374

William, Thank you for your review. This bike rack has a 70 lb total capacity and a 35 lb per bike limit. Most e-bikes do weigh over 35 lbs. If your e-bike is heavier than 35 lbs I would recommend removing the battery so that you do not over exceed the weight capacity of the rack.

I purchased this bike rack to replace another I have been using for many years. It was fine but a) the bikes hung from the rack, making it difficult to mount the bikes without damage. And b), the bikes hung too low, interfering with my pop-up trailer hitch. This rack solves those issues. In particular: Pros: The bikes are VERY easy to load onto the rack. They do not touch each other, even when jostled. Clamping the bikes to the rack could not be easier and adjustments are a snap. They sit MUCH higher than on other racks, avoiding contact with the trailer while turning. The folding feature is nice and the locking pins are wired to the rack preventing loss. The clamps have a place to add a pad lock, which is much more convenient than running cables throughout the bike frames. Cons: The rack, with tow-bar attached, is fairly heavy That said, it’s not clear that this rack will be as sturdy as my previous one. In particular… The tire loops seem a bit flimsy, though that might just be my perception. It would be nice if there was a loop on the top of the middle post so that it could be stored via a hanger. I have not yet used the rack for a trip but I think will perform well. I do recommend this product and would purchase it again. Additionally, the folks at etrailer were wonderful to work with. The price was competitive but after finding a slightly lower price online, etrailer gave me a refund of the difference. That was a nice bonus. All-in-all, an excellent experience. 464034

Purchased the Swagman Traveler XCS Platform Style Rack bicycle rack mounted on a 15 ¾ “ Hidden Hitch ball mount. It allowed me to tow 2 bicycles mounted on the hitch and still tow our 15 ft. pop up camper. After a year on the road hauling the camper, I could not be happier. The Swagmen bike rack is superbly engineered and manufactured. The designers seemed to think of everything as far as usability and durability. I definitely recommend also using the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch Anti Rattle device. It provided positive clamping to eliminate tow bar movement within the hitch receiver. Also purchased the Roadmaster 8” Safety Cable Extensions which were needed to allow attachment of the safety chains which were not long enough to reach the hitch mounting once the longer ball mount was installed. Also praise to Kelsey W. at etrailer.com who assisted me by answering my questions and guiding me through the sale. All equipment arrived within the time promised and all in good shape. 504149

I failed to recognize that it did not come with the two inch extension bar, but that was my bust. It is easy to assemble, sturdy, and well designed. I tried other bike racks on or motorhome, but none of them worked. This rack works exactly as I hoped it would. I needed a 12” extension added to the motorhome hitch. The rack slips over tow vehicle hitch. Pretty simple install and worked great. We have been using for over a year now. 593619

This rack is perfect behind our motor home! It slides over the tow bar and has absolutely no interference with our tow vehicle. The rack is easy to load/unload. The vertical hooks to secure the bikes work, but I also use some wire twists on the wheels and top tube for extra security. I do have to remove the reciever/tow bar that the rack is mounted to for access to the engine bay, but that is a rare event and not a big hassle. Overall a very functional and useful bike rack. I carry a carbon fibre road bike and mountain bike with no issues. 579595

Very pleased with my purchase! It was shipped and delivered exactly when etrailer said I could expect it. The bike rack solves a problem for me I encountered when trying to figure out how to tow my 13ft Scamp without mounting bike rack on back of trailer or on roof of car. It is very easy for me to use, but, more importantly, my wife is able to put her bike in the rack on her own. We are taking a camping trip shortly and will be able to test it out thoroughly., 551756

Very sturdy bike rack. It has been hooked to the back of our travel trailer for a year now, exposed to the desert elements. The pins that hold the arms in position got rusty pretty quick but everything else looks new. The clamps that hold the bikes in can be a little difficult to move up and down and they will pinch your fingers at every opportunity. Could use a few tweaks but all in all it gets the job done. 520500

RV rated - good warranty - the longer hook broke but was quickly replaced by the manufacturer. It needs tightening up here and there every once in a while. Nice high arch keeps everything off the ground. Does obscure lights so will want to think about adding some magnetic trailer lamps back there. Has served well for about 15K miles now. 318941

Excellent bike rack easy to use and. Dry robust 315762

- S64664

The "J" shaped hold down brackets get stuck if you tighten them down too much but do securely hold the bikes in place. These same "J" hold down brackets wore a Dime sized hole through the paint on my new bike, this is even though the J has foam on it plus I added foam rubber to my bike frame. It does not fold to a fully closed position where you can reinstall the stowage pins without first removing the various brackets. The system does generally work for our full time travel purposes. I move the main bracket from the RV to the Car hitch in 10 minutes. 289218

- S64664
by:

Easy setup however two of the pilot holes for the carage bolts had to be adjusted using a small file so the bolts would seat correctly 279185

I wanted a bike rack that would also allow me to take a trailer camping. This design also stood out with me because it doesn't require a top tube adapter for use with full suspension of women's bikes. Haven't hauled with it yet, but it's rock solid and was very easy to assemble. Only required a 3/4" socket/wrench and about 20 minutes to assemble. 257401

- S64664
by:

The assembly directions were not the best but it went together easily. The rack mounted easily on my truck and the bikes mounted nicely. The folding center bar makes it easy to mount the inside bike. You will most likely need an extra-long ball mount to have the room to attach the bike rack. 230802

- S64664
by:

The bike rack is exactly what I expected and arrived a day early too! I was disappointed in the hitch as it had several large nicks in it but it looked brand new so I assume it happened in shipping but in no way did it affect the workability so I kept it. Test it already and works great. Definitely a good book rack for RV. 228068

Received this product sooner than expected and it was a better product than expected, too. It's the perfect rack for our two bikes and is very well built. Will do business etrailer.com again. Thank you 61748

I was unsure what type of bike rack I should buy for our new motor home so I called etrailer.com and talked to Cathy T. She was very helpful and concerned that I would get the right one that she called the supplier and gathered all the information about the products. She then called me back and based on the information she gave me I ordered the rack they recommended. This turned out to be a perfect bike rack for our motor home. Great service from Cathy T. and a well constructed rack. Great combination. Thanks etrailer. I'll be back! 50211

Ask the Experts about this Swagman Hitch Bike Racks
Do you have a question about this Hitch Bike Rack?

  • Bike Rack Recommendation to Attach to Ball Mount for Carrying Mountain Bike
  • When carrying bikes with the Curt Clamp-On 3 Bike Rack # C18013 that you referenced you do end up carrying the closest bike pretty close to the rear tailgate. If you check out the picture I attached you'll see a similar bike with wider bars actually that actually goes over the top of the tailgate. If you have wide bars you'd most likely end up with tailgate interference of having the bars go over the top of the tailgate. The Swagman XCS part # S64664 might be the better towing bike rack...

  • Recommended Option for Safely Towing Tear Drop Trailer and Using Bike Rack
  • Your 2017 NuCamp [email protected] Outback tear-drop trailer is nice indeed, but it does not lend itself too well to use with an RV bike rack since the tongue area is already well-utilized for (and mostly covered by) cargo and storage structures. Were this not the case then the a-frame-mount Bike Bunk # CC-275 would do the trick. The adjustable Bike Bunk mounts to the a-frame and provides a 2-inch receiver for use with an RV-approved bike carrier like the Lets Go Aero BikeWing-2 2-Bike Rack # B01311....

  • Swagman Bike Rack for an RV Towing Setup
  • Bike racks like the Swagman XC, part # S64650 that are not rated for RV use are generally can't handle the increased sway and rock that an RV experiences. This is largely caused by the distance between the rear axle and the trailer hitch. RV Rated racks tend to be built with sturdier designs and heavier materials to be able to withstand this sway. Many of them will not have tilt or fold away features on them to help withstand this motion. I recommend avoiding the use of the dual-hitch...

  • Can Wheel Hoops for Swagman XTC Bike Rack Fit on Swagman XC
  • Yes, you can put the XTC wheel hoops, # P318, on the XC model rack, # S64664. There is a version of this rack that has this set up already, # S64650-EXT actually.

  • How to Raise a Bike Rack on the Rear of an RV
  • I do have an opinion for you but the Replacement Bent Towing Receiver part # SP325 will not work with your Thule bike rack as it is designed to be used with the Swagman Traveler XCS part # S64664 only. Instead, I recommend either using the MaxxTow Ball Mount part # MT70066 or the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver part # RM-077-8. If you are towing a trailer behind your RV then you will want to use the MaxxTow ball mount but if you are flat-towing a vehicle behind your RV then you will want...

  • Recommendations to Tow a Trailer and 2 Bikes with a 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon 2.5i Limited
  • The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75673 is what I recommend for you to install on your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon as it can easily tow a 1,500-lb trailer and hold 2 bikes. You will want to check your owner's manual though about the max Tongue Weight (TW) of your Outback Wagon. From what I found online it looks like it has a TW capacity of 200 lbs which, since a trailer's TW should be 10-15% of the loaded trailer weight, could be an issue if you are wanting to carry bikes as...

  • Towing Bike Rack Availability with 5" Drop Ball Mount for Towing Vintage Trailer
  • We do have ball mounts with a 5" drop that you can use with the Swagman Traveler XCS # S64664, but none of our towing bike racks come with a ball mount that has a 5" drop (none of them actually come with a ball mount as the pictures are for demonstration purposes). If you would like to stick with the XCS that you referenced then I recommend using the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit # 989900 for 2" trailer hitches. This comes with a 2 different ball mounts, one of which has a 4" drop (which...

  • Front Hitch for 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500
  • A front htich is a great way to add carrying capacity for a bike rack without interfering with turning clearance if you also happen to be towing a trailer. Currently the only front hitch we have for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 is the EcoHitch model # 306-X7352. The hitch's price reflects the fact that it is USA-made and also made from an alloy that is produced only from US-sourced recycled materials. If you do not have a rear hitch we do offer these for your Sprinter 3500 as...

  • Can a Trailer be Towed and Bike Rack be Carried at Same Time
  • We have great solutions to allow you to tow a small trailer and carry a bike rack but the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-10 that you referenced was designed for applications where a vehicle is being flat towed behind an RV. The most similar adapter that might work for you is the Curt # D210 which has a ball mount platform and a hitch opening above it. Another great option is the Stromberg Bike Bunk part # CC-275 which attaches to the a-frame of your camper and gives...

  • Bike Rack Recommendation for Subaru Forester Towing PWC Trailer
  • We don't have a version of the # D210 that has the ball mount platform with a rise instead of a drop. I know you have a really nice Thule bike rack but the only solution we'd have would be a towing style bike rack like the Swagman Traveler XCS part # S64664 which can attach to the ball mount you end up using and gives you a platform bike rack for two bikes. For a ball mount then you'll want to first figure out what rise/drop you need. For info on how to do that check out the help article...

  • Yes, the Swagman Traveler XCS # S64664 can attach to the shank of your Roadmaster Nighthawk Tow Bar part # RM-677. The rack will attach to the tow bar just like the ball mount you've used. I attached a picture of it attached to a very similar Roadmaster tow bar for you to check out as well.

  • Platform Bike Racks that are Rated for Rear of Trailer, RV or Camper
  • I spoke with my contact at Swagman and she said the Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64670 that you reference is not rated for use at the rear of an RV, trailer or camper because of the additional forces present at the back of trailers. The Swagman 2 bike platform racks rated for use at the rear of an RV, trailer or camper are parts # S64663 and # S64664. Both of these bike racks will only be able to carry 2 bikes. • How High Does the Swagman Platform 2 Bike Carrier for 2 inch Ball Mount Raise the Bikes
  • I went out to the warehouse and pulled the Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier # S64664, for 2 inch draw bars and produced a short video showing all of the dimensions you might need to determine if the bike rack will work behind your RV while towing a vehicle. • Bike Rack Options While Using A Tow Dolly
  • I do have an option that will allow you to use a bike rack on the rear of the vehicle while towing a tow dolly, however, there currently are not any dual hitch adapters that will allow you to use a 10" drop ball mount and remain within your weight capacity. Therefore, the only way to use a hitch bike rack on the rear of an RV while also towing a car with a tow dolly, would involve a bike rack that slides over the ball mount. The only bike rack that will slide over the ball mount and...

  • Recommended Hitch and Towing Bike Rack for a 2011 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE
  • It sounds like you have the 2011 Land Rover Range Rover Sport HSE. For this model vehicle Curt has a 2 inch trailer hitch available # 13456. The only catch is if you have a full size spare below your vehicle, after the installation of the hitch you will no longer be able to store it there. I have linked some roof mounted spare tire racks to this page for you to check out. A bike rack can mount directly into the 2 inch receiver but it sounds like you would prefer to mount a bike...

  • Compatibility of Swagman XCS Bike Rack with Hitch Extender
  • The Swagman Traveler XCS Platform-Style 2 Bike Towing Rack # S64664 is intended for use on the shank of a 2-inch ball mount. It is not recommended for use on a hitch extension like # C45791. The reason is that any type of hitch extender will have the unavoidable side-effect of reducing your hitch's capacity by 50-percent. This loss of capacity results from the change in geometry caused by the extender. If you need to tow and use a hitch-mount rack at the same time you can use the Curt...

  • Bike Rack Recommendation for an RV Flat Towing a Honda Fit
  • The best option I could recommend for you would be to get a shank mounted bike rack that you could attach to the 6 inch drop adapter you currently have. This would not require the use of an additional adapter that would reduce capacity and would also allow you to tow your setup at it's current height. For a bike rack you would want the Swagman Traveler XCS Bike Rack part # S64664. Check out the review video I attached.
