The Swagman XTC2 TILT is built for riders who need a rack that doesn’t dominate their garage or shed. Weighing only 30 lbs, it folds up when not in use—wheel trays tuck neatly against the mast so the whole rack can slide into a closet or stand in a corner. The lightweight steel frame keeps it durable without being a bear to move.
No need to unload just to get to your gear. A spring-loaded release lever lets the rack tilt back, even with both bikes strapped in place. Whether you’re reaching for a cooler or a backpack, you can tilt and grab what you need without disturbing your setup. It’s one of those small functions that makes every trip smoother.
The padded, ratcheting hooks slide down over the frame to hold your bikes tight without scratching paint or finishes. Each bike rides in its own adjustable wheel hoop, secured by a rubber strap that keeps the tires fixed through bumps and turns. The hoops slide easily along the tray to fit bikes with up to 52" wheelbases and 2.5"-wide tires. For fat-tire setups, optional 5" hoops are available.
The threaded hitch pin and built-in anti-wobble device lock the rack firmly into the receiver so it doesn’t shake or clunk at highway speeds. A removable aluminum adapter sleeve makes it simple to switch between 1-1/4" (Class II) and 2" hitches. With a 35-lb per bike capacity and 3" shank rise, the XTC2 TILT stays stable and level wherever the drive takes you.
Pull pins on the mast and trays make assembly fast and tool-light. When it’s time to store the rack, the same pins let everything fold down or up in seconds. A black powder coat adds rust resistance to the steel frame, keeping it looking clean season after season.

So, its been a year. We did a north NJ to SC round trip last year just over 1500 miles round trip, North NJ to NewCastle VA, Mifflin, PA and Elmira NY. We are currently back in SC. So, a few thousand miles with a single Troxus Explorer about 85lbs and the rack is still fine. I will say, our mount and weight carried are outside the racks user manual, so the warranty may be void, but I have not needed it. One other thing we did, we put in a bolt and nut for when the arms are down, this prevents the base from spreading due to the extra weight moving around.

Great. The only thing that would make it better is if it were to tilt a little more. It works good on my F150 Raptor, but a little more tilt would be nice for when I get the mount on my wifes RDX installed. However, it is well-worth the money.

Thanks for sharing your feedback! Just to clarify, the 35-lb rating is for each bike position, not a combined weight limit for the entire rack. So if this is a 2-bike rack rated for 35 lbs per bike, it can carry two bikes weighing up to 35 lbs each. If your bike weighs closer to 70 lbs, or if you're carrying a heavier e-bike, you'd want to look at a rack specifically designed for that higher weight capacity. Out of curiosity, what kind of bike are you planning to carry? We'd be happy to help make sure you have the right rack for your setup.

Great bike rack. Simplistic but works. No it doesnt have all the bells and whistles but in all reality, you dont need that. So still loving it and would buy again.

Hey Charlie. That's a pretty awesome set-up you got with your bike rack! Also, a sailplane?! That sounds so cool! Are there specific places that are best for gliding/flying?
