Question:

I am looking at the Jack It Arro 2 bike system. I have. 2025 Rpod 171, doesnt look like I can mount it up by the tongue jack but I see pics where it can? Or is there a different mounting system that will work for me? I dont want to mount it on rear of trailer. Thank you

Hey Sherri!

The Lets Go Aero Jack-It PLUS Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # LGA47ZR does indeed mount using the same bolts and bolt holes as your trailer jack. Why do you think it won't work? Did you measure and you don't have enough room? It requires a jack that is no taller than 22-1/2".

If you have too tall of a jack or something else in the way, we can look at alternative solutions.

I really like the Swagman Stratus Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - RV Frame Mount # S52SR which mounts to the side frame rails of your camper. It fits trailer frames that are up to 5" tall, which yours should fall into that area. The brackets that attach to the trailer frame can adjust from about 19-1/2" to about 26-3/4" across, giving some flexibility as to where you need to mount them on the frame.

I have a TREK bike, just the one. So does the bike rack just sit on top of the same place where the tongue jack sits ? Use same holes for bolts ?

@SherriS Yes so you'll loosen the bolts and remove them along with the jack, then place the bike rack in place, put the jack back on top, line up the holes and insert the hardware. Tighten everything up and you're good to go. It sounds difficult, but it's actually easier than messing with the frame-mounted brackets, in my opinion.
