Does etrailer Carry Furrion Chill Cube w/ Heat Pump to Replace Dometic Duo-Therm

I have read that Furrion has a model of the Chill Cube with a heat pump. Is that something that is available yet? I have a Dometic duo-therm I want to replace on my travel trailer. Thanks.

Hey Andrew! Yes, Furrion does have a Chill Cube model with a heat pump. This was actually just released for aftermarket sale. You will need a complete system to make the switch, new R32 units aren't backwards compatible with old R410A systems. You can choose from the following based on color and ducted/ductless:

-Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump - Ductless - 18K Btu - Black - R32 # FR77TQ
-Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 18K Btu - White - R32 # FR67TQ
-Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump - Ducted - 18K Btu - Black - R32 # FR97TQ
-Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Heat Pump and Wall Thermostat - Ducted - 18K Btu - White - R32 # FR59TQ
-Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w/ Heat Pump and Wall Thermostat - Ducted - 18K Btu - Black - R32 # FR27TQ
The wall thermostat is only necessary if you want it to run your furnace as well. The remote handles all other functions. You can also use your existing wall thermostat to run a furnace independently which is what I recommend to avoid compatibility issues.

Can the remote control a furnace as well? Or is it just the wall thermostat that is able to do this?
