Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light

The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.

A PC-rated light produces a 90-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you are standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. When properly installed, this type of light can function as both a front clearance light and a side marker light or as a rear clearance light and side marker light.

The parent company for Wesbar recently changed, so as of May 2023 this particular light is on indefinite backorder.     I recommend replacing your Tail Lights with the Drivers # STL37RPG and Passengers # STL36RPG lights as the Wesbar Lights and lenses are obsolete. The Optronics lights above will both use the same Tail Light Lens # A39RB if either side were to become damaged. So you will only need to keep one spare on hand versus having both sides and only damaging one side.

However if you don't need the wiring, license plate bracket, and clearance light it might be better just to go with individual lights like part # STL37RPG and # STL36RPG. That being said the LED Over 80 kit would be the part # TL16RK. The clearance lights and the taillights do not share the same circuit so them being of different light styles would not be an issue.

    Given the photos you've provided, it looks like the replacement lamp you're needing is part # ST66RPG for the passenger side for an incandescent lamp or # STL36RPG for an LED version. The LED version has a 2 pin plug with a separate ground connection that would ground to the trailer frame, or you could cut the connector off your existing lamp and swap them.

    I tried to find pictures of your trailer so that I could determine what trailer lights it would have and could not find a solid picture that I could use to know for certain what you have. One picture looked very similar to the # STL36RPG and the # STL37RPG that you referenced so there is a great chance these lights would work. If your lights measure 7-7/8" L x 3-1/4" W x 2-7/8" D then these would work.
